You make me happy!

Hello everybody,

It is Thursday again! Gosh! Week went by so quickly.  And this happens week after week! It is scary. I am getting older so quickly. But one of the things I enjoy every week is playing along CAS(E) this sketch sketches. Here is this week's sketch.

This sketch is by Lisa Arana! And here is my take on the sketch.

This card is no stamp card once again. Love the green checked pattern paper on the background from Dear Lizzy! The stickers are also from Dear Lizzy. Love the beautiful cluster of flowers wrapped in the banner with a beautiful sentiment. I kind of shrinked and altered the elements in the sketch, yet you can still see the sketch on my card.

Want to know what the rest of the design teams have done with the sketch? Please visit CAS(E) this Sketch challenge blog.

No stamp card!

Hey everybody,

Since I completed with CAS-ual Fridays as a design team member, I did not have a chance to play along any of the challenges with them. Today, I decided to play along with their latest challenge #95- no stamp on the card. Now that is a huge challenge for me. Seriously!

When I was clearing out my pattern paper pad, I came upon Kaisercraft's Fine and Sunny paper pad. Kaisercraft's paper pads have not just one sided papers, but also textured papers and also some gorgeous labels and border cutouts towards the end of the paper pad. I love the textured papers. This particular collection has some adorable texture images which I cut out and layered to make my card below.

I have added one of the papers from Fine and Sunny paper pad on the background. And on a smaller panel, I have layered and glued the gorgeous glossy cut outs. Nope No Nada stamps on this card. Love it. Hope you like it too:)

A set of cards

I have a pattern paper giveaway on my blog for Australian and New Zealand Residents only. Click here for details.

Hey everybody,

Second post for today! Cleaned up my craft room this morning. Huge job! Didn't realise how much mess I had created that the room started to look smaller. After four hours of cleaning, the room is now restored to it normal state. lol! It is very inviting now to craft right now. I have decided to leave it clean  for now:) So the card share I have today is made sometime ago for a publication call. Unfortunately, the cards got sold before it got picked for publication. Here are the set of cards.

I have used Happy everything stamp set from Clearly Besotted Stamps and pattern papers from Studio Calico and My Mind's Eye to make my cards. The enamel dots is also from My Mind's Eye. And the chipboard heart shape is from Pink Paislee.I loved colouring the images and I took Debby's stunning card as my inspiration for my second card. I braved myself and went ahead sketching using copic markers. Love the beautiful images from Happy Everything stamp set. Enamel Dots have becomes my new bling replacement.

Ok got to go now and iron uniforms for tomorrow. I cannot wait for the next weekend because it is a 4 day long Easter weekend. Yay!

Thanks for stopping by!

Pattern Paper Giveaway!

Hey there!

What a gorgeous day today? Beautiful Autumn weather and I am loving it. Perfect weather to craft. I came into my craft room and it was so messy and dusty that I began to sneeze. So instead of crafting, I decided to clean up.  And while cleaning, I decided to purge. I am starting with pattern papers.

Here are some Papertrey Ink pattern papers 8" x 8" sized which I are gorgeous but I haven't used them in a long time. I decided to giveaway these.

They are used, some well used and other not so much. There are no bit and pieces in this lot. All of them are 8" x 8"  size. This giveaway is only for Australian and New Zealand residents because it is expensive to ship papers elsewhere for me.

So please leave a comment on this post by Wednesday 27th March midnight Perth Time please. I will choose a random winner on Friday 29th March.

There is more to come. There is a mystery stamp giveaway soon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Guest Designing for Clearly Besotted Stamps.

G' Morning everybody,

Gorgeous Friday today! Yay! Already loving it. weather has cooled down significantly over the past couple of days. Mornings and evenings are much cooler. Welcome Autumn:)

Today, I am sharing with you some cards using the new Clearly Besotted stamp sets. I am so delighted to say that I am Guest Designing for Clearly Besotted Stamps this month. Thank you Stephanie for giving me this opportunity:)

Here is my first card.

I have used  Many Thanks stamp set from Clearly Besotted on this card. I decided to use the star images and layer them by stamping. Did you see the gold stamping? Here is the close up.

I love layered stamping and a CAS card.

This second card is inspired by the current trend in photography called Bokeh. I have a board on Pinterest called Bokeh Inspirations for you if you like to know what it is all about:)

I sprayed some Mister Huey colours on an acrylic sheet and then diluted it with some water mist. Then I put my scrap piece of cardstock directly over it and let it soar for a few seconds. I then heat set it as I was impatient to let it dry on its own:)  Once the card stock is dry, I die cut the jar and stamped the jar image from Spring Blooms stamp set from Clearly Besotted. Then I worked on getting the Bokeh using the heart shapes from Many Thanks Stamp set also from Clearly Besotted. The pattern papers are from Pink Paislee Secret Crush Collection. The sentiment is from Many Thanks stamp set.

For the next card I decided to play along with tips Debby Hughes gave at the Pattern Play online class.

Debby used bold pattern papers as accents. But what I liked the most is using the pattern paper layered under the negative die cut. What a great idea? I decided to use this idea on my card.

I wanted this sentiment from Many Thanks from Clearly Besotted Stamp Set to be my focal point. But I also wanted to add colour to my card. I picked this bold stripped multi colour pattern paper from the Snippets range from Studio Calico paper pad. And I wanted them layered under the negative of the die cut. The die I have used here is from Papertrey Ink Banner dies. I die cut on my front card panel, stamped the sentiment, layered the pattern paper under the negative of the die cut then mounted the panel on the card front. I also used enamel dots to add more interest. Love love how this card turned out.

I am entering this card into the Moxie Fab World's Card Creations - The Emphasize The Negative Challenge.

Hope you enjoyed some of my projects today. I would like to thank Stephanie for giving me the opportunity to Guest design for Clearly Besotted. Absolutely love your designs, great customer service and quick delivery. What more do you want?

Have a great day everybody! I am off to do the school run.

Hello!

Cannot believe this is my third post for today! Yeah! happens occasionally! But I am glad I am able to share my cards with you:) With this post, I am going to bring a brand new sketch from CAS(E) this sketch. Here is the sketch by Jackie Rockwell!

I didn't take the literal approach this time too. Here is my take on the sketch.

I have used Celebrate and whats up? stamp sets from AveryElle stamps to make my card. I love giraffes in general and this one is absolutely awesome. And the sentiment from Celebrate stamp set is cool with the shadow.
