Hello! An Altenew card and a video!

Hello everyone!

It is new year eve right now for me! Getting ready for an Italian dinner and fireworks. Before that, I wanted to share my new card using Altenew Stamp Set and dies. I also made a video of the card. But first here is the card.

Hello card #1

I stamped Altenew's Halftone Hello in black, then masked the stamped sentiment using the mask di cut using coordinating die. Then I stamped the cluster of flowers and leaves from Altenew Vintage Roses stamp set. I then removed the mask to reveal the stamped sentiment. Love how the sentiment pops right out of the flower and leaves cluster. I then trimmed the panel, adhered foam behind the panel. On the card base, I adhered the woodgrain pattern paper from My Mind's Eye, then the stamped panel. Finally embellished with Pretty Pink Posh's Metallic Gold 6mm and 4mm sequins. I love to add some gold on my cards :)
And here is the video of how I made the card. You can also watch my video on my You Tube Channel in HD.

Hope you like my video. I also made two more similar cards. So now I have a set of three cards to pack and gift a special person.

Hello card #3

Hello card #2

And here are all the three cards together.

Hello cards

LOVE the colours against the white background with woodgrain pattern paper and gold sequins as accents. Hope you like them too. I am entering this video for Altenew's Video Challenge #3!

Here is my party card.

Party Time #1

I used Winnie & Walter's The Party stamp set to make my card. I stamped the background of my card with the images from the stamp set in a mixture of colours. I just wanted the burst of colours. I have used pigment inks from Mama Elephant and Avery Elle and Memento Luxe inks. Pigment inks remain bright as they sit on top of the cardstock.  For the focal sentiment. I die cut a vellum panel using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die set. This die set is my all time favourite. I use it all the time and most of my cards have the stitched rectangle panel in them :) For this card, I used the third largest die from the set. The sentiment is from Winnie & Walter The Party Stamp set which I heat embossed on the vellum panel. I added Multi Matt Medium to the back of the heat embossed sentiment to adhere the vellum on the card front.  Then embellished with Pretty Pink Posh's iridescent sequins. Here is a closeup of the card.

While I had the stamp set on my table I made another card.

Hooray its your day #1

I decided to try no line copic colouring  using masking technique to stamp a cluster of images on this card. Just to push myself to do something new, different and outside my comfort zone. I love how it turned out. One thing I will do different is to stamp the image with fourth generation stamping with Memento ink instead of third generation. I can still see the outline in certain places. Otherwise all is good. Now no line copic colouring is within my comfort zone. Yay!

Hooray its your day closeup #1

Sentiment is also from the same stamp set which I stamped using black ink right below the coloured images.
I then die cut the coloured panel using the smaller scallop panel from Essentials: Audrey's Cutaway. I layered this panel on a white card front. Then I embellished the card with Clear Droplet from Pretty Pink Posh.

So now it's YOUR turn, Happy Crafting

Wishing You Brighter Days!

Good morning and hello everyone!

Just one more day before the new year. This year went by so quickly for me. Unbelievable! It has been busy year and a roll-coaster of a year. I wish next year would be a bit slower and enjoyable. I can only wish as nobody knows whats in store in future.

I have a rainbow card to share with you today. This is a Pretty Pink Posh card.

Wishing you Brighter Days card

My favourite set from the Pretty Pink Posh release is the Rainy Days stamp set. I LOVE the umbrellas and the sentiments on this set. There is also lots of smilie faces and rain drops in the set as well. Awesome set. On my card, I stamped the outline of the umbrella randomly on a card panel and coloured them with copic markers. I used rainbow colours and added some shading on the umbrellas.

Then I added the large gold glitter scalloped border using Scallop Frame Die set. This is my favourite die set from Pretty Pink Posh too. Love the scallops inside of the frame. Unique because all the scalloped frames in the market has the scallops on the outside of the frame. And this also has the stitched details on it. Great die to frame a background like I did or a focal point or sentiment. LOVE it. :)

The sentiment is also from the same stamp set which I white heat embossed on black cardstock, trimmed and adhered with some bunched up thread. I then embellished with gold metallic sequins also from Pretty Pink Posh. Here is a closeup.
