Kinnari from Pinkfresh Studio generously provided us designers with gorgeous products from the Felicity collection. Thank you so much for your generosity, Kinnari! I love the collection. Fact is I love all your collection. They are so trendy and fab.

I loved how the Felicity collection coordinates with many of Winnie & Walter's products. I got carried away and made four cards. So make yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy!

Happy card

First up is a happy card. I showcased the beautiful pattern paper and die cut from Felicity collection on this card. I incorporated In a Word: Happy die from Winnie & Walter in this card. Best of all I love the puffy sequins. So cute.

Happy card closeup#1            Next, a similar concept card using different pattern paper and puffy stickers from Felicity collection paired with Winnie & Walter's Cutaway - The Big, the Bold and Seasons!

Spring card #2

I absolutely love love this pattern paper. It has spring written all over it with a very trendy and cool look to it. So fab! I used the die cuts and the wood veneer hearts from the Felicity collection on the card. The sentiment is a mix of die cut from Winnie & Walter and Felicity Collection.

The third card is a layered card using the house elements from the Felicity Collection paired with the house from This Awesome House stamp set and In a Word: Home Cutaway from Winnie & Walter.

Home Sweet Home card #2

I showcased the beautiful pattern paper with houses for the background, layered with white heat embossed large house from Winnie & Walter's This Awesome House stamp set on vellum, layered with the houses die cut from Felicity Collection, then layered with In a Word: Home Cutaway die cut using pattern paper and finally layered with Home Sweet Home sentiment die cut from Felicity Collection. I embellished the card with puffy flower stickers and puffy sequins

And finally, another layered card using similar concept.

Happy Spring card

For this card, I stamped the flowers and leaves from the stamp set from Felicity Collection to make my second layer pattern paper. I die cut the pattern paper and stamped paper layer using the rectangle dies from Essentials: Katharine Cutaway. The vellum tag is die cut using the tag from the same Cutaway set. I then layered the vellum with die cuts from Felicity die cut pack, followed by In a Word: happy die cut with sentiment die cut on top. I also added a few puffy sequins and puffy elements to bring the card together.

Happy Spring closeup

I thoroughly enjoyed playing with both Pinkfresh Studio's Felicity Collection and loved how the collection  coordinated with Winnie & Walter's products so well. And all of these cards are totally out of my zone. Best part is I am so thrilled how they turned out. Hope you like them too.

There are lots of goodies and gift certificates to be won. Here is how to enter.

Here is my take on the challenge!

sending love

I have used the Distress Stain Weathered Wood  on the background by rubbing the stain directly on paper to get the brush strokes effect. Then I used Layering Stencil Speckle and white embossing paste to add white spatter with texture to the background.
For the focal point, I have used Simon Says Stamp Clustered Leaves die to die cut the leaves using vellum cardstock. The flowers are from Tim Holtz called Garden Flower #4. I black heat embossed on watercoloured paper and coloured using Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry distress inks. I hand cut them out and clustered them on top of the leaves using foam adhesives. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Texting stamp set which I stamped in black ink, cut out and adhered using foam adhesives as well. I embellished using Pink Blush sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Simon Says Stamp April card kit - Card #1

Hello everyone,

So good to be back blogging again. Hope everyone had a great Easter break. I am sharing with you my first card using Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit!
April-2016-CK-600x487

Love that this kit has not just beautiful pattern papers but also stickers and embellishment from Simple Stories. For my card today, I decided to use the stickers only.

Hello card

I have used the white cardstock from the kit as my card base. Then I used the big hello sticker from the sticker sheet set also from the kit as my focal point. To frame the focal point, I used the flower stickers, heart stickers and the sentiment stickers also from the sheet. I popped a few of them using foam adhesives and adhered a few straight to the card front. Then I used Sparkly Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to add some bling and bring the elements together. Simple card using the stickers and no stamping yet making a big impact by keeping lots of white space.

This card kit is available for purchase from Simon Says Stamp store. If you like to subscribe to the kits, here is the link. If you like more inspirations using this kit, here is the link to the gallery.

This week the challenge is COME RAIN or SHINE!

You matter very much card

I have taken the abstract interpretation of  the challenge theme and made a card to give someone very special during difficult times. I have used the flower bouquet from Avery Elle's  Get Well stamp set as my focal point. On the background, I used Simon Says Stamp stencil called Ledger Drops and sponged Tumbled Glass  and Salty Ocean distress inks fading towards the edges of the card front.

You matter very much closeup

I die cut the flower bouquet image using Stitched Rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp and adhered to the centre of the card front using foam adhesives. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Friendly Flowers stamp set which I simply stamped on a strip of cardstock and trimmed at an angle. Finally added Raspberry sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to bring in a bit more of that pink colour from the flowers. I also brushed the flowers with clear shimmer.

You matter very much flat #1
