Anything Goes

This week we are showcasing Concord & 9th Products.  You don't have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
I love Concord and 9th products. They are very unique and innovative. My first stamp set from Concord and 9th is Brushed Blossoms stamp set. I not only LOVE the painted flowers and layers but the handwritten sentiments are gorgeous. Such a beautiful stamp set.
Just Because card
I decided to use the painted flower and leaves images from the stamp set and stamp a pretty background for my card. I used Fresh Peach ink from Hero Arts and Jelly Bean ink from Simon Says Stamp to stamp the flowers, buds and leaves. I used Versafine Black Onyx ink to add accents to the flowers and the background. I die cut the panel using the largest of the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die from MFT. The wonky stitches adds details. I die cut a circle in the top middle of the panel. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap white cardstock. I adhered the top panel on the sentiment panel using foam adhesives I adhered this panel on a Fog card base. To bring the black accent from the background and the black sentiment together, I added Onyx sequins.

Wishing You Joy! Winnie & Walter November release

Hello everyone,

I am here sharing my project using Winnie & Walter's newly released November products. The new products did not arrive on time, hence was not able to participate in the premieres and blog hop. So I will be sharing my projects I made using the new products over a few days this week.
The stamp set and coordinating cutaway I am showcasing today are Frenchy's Festive Florals.

This set is very pretty. Love the delicate images. And it is always great to have coordinating dies for every image. Here is my card.

Wishing You Joy!

I stamped the images from the stamp set using a mixture of pigment and dye ink and die cut them all out. I gold heat embossed the "JOY" sentiment and die cut. The two rectangles are die cut using Essentials: Katherine Cutaway. I sponged Peacock Feathers distress inks on top of the smaller white rectangle panel.

Wishing you Joy closeup

I clustered glued the die cut images on the top right corner of the smaller panel. Then below to the cluster to the left I adhered the "JOY" die cut sentiment using foam adhesives. Then I stamped the smaller sentiment on strips of white cardstock. I adhered these strips using foam adhesives.

I adhered the smaller panel over the larger panel using foam adhesives and the whole panels to the card base flush using scor tape. The larger panel is pattern paper from My Mind's Eye Charmed collection. I finally embellished with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkly Clear sequins.

Wishing You Joy flat

Hope you are inspired. Both the Frenchy's Festive Florals and coordinating Cutaway are available for purchase from Winnie & Walter Store.

I will share more projects using the new release in the coming days.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Merry Christmas card

Hello friends, I have been dying to play with this gorgeous detailed cutting plate from Taylored Expressions called Merry Christmas.

This cuttle plate is perfect to mass produce your Christmas cards this year. Here is my card using this Merry Christmas Cutting Plate.

Merry Christmas

I have kept it simple. I sponged distress inks Candied Apple, Festive Berries and Aged Mahogany on watercolour panel. Then spattered some clear water to add texture. Once dry, I die cut using the Merry Christmas cutting plate. Before die cutting I added Stick It adhesives on the back of the panel. I also add stick it on the back of two more white panels. So I die cut two more using the white panel. Then I stacked and glued them with the red die cut on top of the stack.

I wanted this to pop out of the card. So I sponged the card front with Salty Ocean distress inks. I did sponged a load of the colour. I then adhered the dimensional die cut on the card front. WOW! LOVE how the red pop against the blue background. I LOVE contrast and this is awesome. I added some highlight details using white gel pen. Thats it!

Hope you like it. I have listed all the products I used to make my card below.

Winnie & Walter Sending Cheer card.

Hey everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American and Canadian friends all over the world!

I am here to share a card I made using Winnie & Walter's In Bloom: Julie's Roses stamp set. This is a new stamp set and it is free with purchase of $35 or more on Black Friday Sale! There is more details later in the post. But first here is my card.

Sending Cheer

I white heat embossed a few roses and leaves from the stamp set and watercoloured them using Zig Clean brush pens and Gansai Tambi watercolour as well. Then I hand cut them all. For the background I die cut a watercolour panel using the largest rectangle die from Essential: Katherine Cutaway. I then smooshed distress inks Ripe Persimmon and Picked Raspberry.

Sending Cheer closeup1

Sentiment is from The Big, the Bold and Greetings cutaway which I die cut using gold foil cardstock. I adhered the sentiment on the centre of the watercolour wash panel. Then I clustered and glued down the roses and leaves. Finally I added the smaller sentiment from The Big, the Bold and Greetings stamp set stamped on a strip of white cardstock. I adhered this panel on a light grey card base. Embellished with Tonic Nuvo Crystal drops and Sparkly Clear sequins.

Sending Cheer flat 1

Here is the Thanksgiving sale details from Winnie & Walter.

I am thankful to have all of you as friends. I am very very grateful to be part of the design teams and thankful for the owners and coordinator for having me on their teams. These are just a few I am thankful for this apart from having a wonderful supportive husband, beautiful well behaved smart children and a cute fluffy doggie. Truly blessed. Have a wonderful thanksgiving dinner and time with your family.

Simon Says Christmas To Die For!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Christmas Critters Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
We will be back soon with the name of the lucky winner of the $50 Voucher
This week the challenge is

Christmas To Die For

Use any die cut on your creation and if you don't have one you can use a punch instead. The main thing is to make something for Christmas and have fun!
We would also like to wish all of our friends in the United States a Very Happy Thanksgiving. We hope you have a lovely time with your family and friends.
This week we are showcasing our very own  Simon's Exclusive Products.  You don't have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
Simon Says Stamp Corbel Tree die caught my eye the moment I saw it on the release. It is so pretty. I have used this die to make my card for the challenge today.

Merry Christmas

I die cut two small stitched rectangle panels using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die set and white cardstock. I die cut the Corbel Tree die on one of the rectangle panel and sponged Pine Needles and Forest Moss distress inks on the other. I spattered some clear water on the sponged panel and dabbed the excess off. Then adhered the die cut panel on the sponged panel using foam adhesive. I stamped the sentiment from an older stamp set from Simon Says Stamp on a smallest stitched rectangle die cut and adhered on the bottom centre of the tree panels.

Merry Christmas corbel closeup

For the card base, I used Simon Says Stamp Fog cardstock. My favourite card stock base colour next to white. I stamped the card front with the images from Simon Says Stamp Winter Flowers stamp set. I used Soft Granite ink from Hero Arts. I used Sakura White gelly roll pen to add white to the dots on the berries. This adds interest to the card instead of it being just solid grey. Finally I embellished the card with Sparkly Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
