I made a set of cards for the challenge using Mermaid Seashells Magicals set. I used the new Simon Says Stamp Kristina's Love stamp set from Hey love collection and an older stencil also from Simon called Falling Hearts to make my cards.

For the first card, I gold heat embossed the sentiment on the bottom of the Bristol panel using Simon's gold embossing powder. On the second card, I heat embossed the sentiment using Simon's Rose Gold embossing powder.

Then I used the Falling Hearts stencil to add embossing paste through out the panel. Once dry, I brushed water on the panels and then the Cockelbells Coral and Glory of Sea Gold pigments made into watercolour by adding water. I brushed two layers drying the first layer to add the second layer. The I trimmed the panel and adhered on Simon's Slate card base.

The shimmer from the Lindy's Gang pigment powder is gorgeous on the cards. I could not capture on my photos but in real the background is shimmery. Hope you like my cards.
So now it’s YOUR turn.  Happy Crafting

I made a Christmas card using Clearly Besotted Stamps. This stamp set is called Joy to the World. This is an older stamp set but one of my favourite Christmas stamp set.

Joy to the world

I stamped the background of the card with the trees from the stamp set using Soft Leaf dye ink from Hero Arts. This is a beautiful muted green. Perfect for background. Soft and subtle.

For the focal point, I stamped the wreath from the stamp set using green pigment ink and red details on the wreath using red pigment ink. The pigment inks are from Mama Elephant and Avery Elle. I similarly stamped the bow, die cut both of them out using the coordinating dies. I adhered them on a vellum panel using foam adhesive for dimension. I also edged the vellum with gold pigment ink. Then I adhered this vellum panel on the card front using foam adhesives hidden behind the wreath and bow. The sentiment is white heat embossed on black strip of cardstock and adhered again using foam adhesive. Then I added 4mm gold sequins on the wreath as embellishments. Thats all! Simple and easy to make.

This week we are showcasing Hero Arts Products.  You don’t have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

I used the beautiful Floral Border with Frame die from Hero Arts along with Flowing Vine Collage die from Simon Says Stamp to create a card.

season's greeting 1

These two dies layer beautifully and go with each other. I die cut two white panels using the second and third rectangle die from Hero Arts infinity rectangle die set. Then on the largest panel I used Hero Arts Floral Border die to die cut and the SSS Flowing Vine Collage die on the second panel. I added acetate sheet behind both the panels and layered the panel using foam adhesives to add dimension. I brushed gold pigment ink on edges of top panel.

Season's Greeting closeup1

For the background, I watercoloured rich purple to red watercolour on watercolour paper. I left it to air dry then trimmed the panel and added to the layered panels using foam adhesives. I adhered the completed panels to the white card base which is also brushed with gold pigment ink on the edges.

Season's Greeting closeup

For the sentiment I die cut Season's Greetings using SSS Season's Greetings die and gold mirror cardstock. I adhered the sentiment flush on the centre of the card front. Then embellished with gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
So now it’s YOUR turn.  Happy Crafting
