This week's CAS challenge at Splitcoast stampers is a color challenge- Turquoise with Kraft and White. It is a soft and delicate color combination. Also Heather Nicholes has demonstrated a technique on her blog using craft ink and impression plates. Here is the link-- Click here. I so wanted to try that technique and use CAS color combiantion to make a card. This is what I came up with!
Father's day is around the corner. So I ended up making a father's day card for my son to give my husband!
I like how it turned out. Did you see the alphebet impression the Hawaiian Shores cardstock? Thats the technique Heather showed on her blog. I also tried the technique on black cardstock. It gives a chalk board effect. Absolutely fabulous. I will use the black cardstock and make another father's day card. Will share it with you tomorrow!
Here are the supplies:
Cardstock | PTI's Kraft, Hawaiian Shores and Stamper's Select White cardstocks |
Stamp Sets: | Father Knows Best, Its Official, |
Inkpads | SU's White Craft Ink and Basic Black |
Accessories | Book Print Impression Plate from PTI, Brayer, Cuttle Bug andMartha Stewart's border punch. |
Thanks for stopping by! Until next time...
Cheers!
