I promised in previous post that I will share pictures of craft projects I made for the school fete.
Here are a few.... These ones below are Post-it note holders made using Acrylic photo frames.
Here is how they look all dressed and ready for mounting the Post-it notes.
Made a few coaster sets using PTI's coasters and pattern papers
Also made a few hairclips using felt and dies and also ribbons. A friend also made a few. She used SU dies and I have used PTI dies. Here are a few pictures of them.
I am in the process of brain storming display ideas. I need help. So if you have any suggestions or ideas, then please let me know.
I have more projects to share. But didn't want to overload with pictures in this post. So there is more to come. I desperately needs ideas for displaying these clips. Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you like them. If you live in my town, you can buy them at St'Marys School fete on Nov 5th 2011.
More soon...
Luv!

I like your projects especially the colorful hair clips. I love all the felt flower clips.
ReplyDelete(I'm sorry...no display ideas. I am doing a craft faire next year and I myself am looking for display ideas in general so I'll be checking back for any ideas).
First of all these are simply gorgeous!! Wishing you all the best for the fair..
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if asking you browse through so many photos is a good idea when you're so short on time...but do check out think link..I love browsing through her craft fair pictures...makes me want to buy the whole stall!!!

Ooooh! I love your stuff and especially those hair clips!! How did you cut the felt so perfectly? Love them. For display purposes, you could do a bulletin board like this http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/home/ribbon-bulletin-board.htm and clip them on to the ribbon. Or...you could make (felt?)faces with long 'braids' out of yarn attached and clip them on every few inches. Hopes this spurs some ideas w/ you.

OMG, all your projects are wonderful. Love your coasters. They are so colorful. The post it note holders are great. I think I will be making some of these for teachers'
ReplyDeleteGifts. Those hair bows are gorgeous, especially the ones on the bands
Looking forward to seeing more.
Lovely products Gayatri. Beautiful! Here's one idea for the rubberbands (the last pic)- patterned paper covered toilet paper rolls, will hold two pairs. Using the tags for the hair clips is a good idea.I have a question for you though- how did you get the fabric to stick on the metal clip? I've been making these clips and having my daughter test them our. I've tried rubber cement, hot glue and even regular fevicol- fabric doesnt stick to metal. After a few uses the fabric flower falls off. Any tip would be appreciated. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to more pics. Priya Venkat
