Here is a card I made for CAS-ual Friday #46. I have trouble choosing which tune to use. Finally, I chose a tune. This song is called "The Call" by Regina Spektor from the movie Narnia. My daughter is singing this song for her Eisteddfod this year. So she has been practising this song and it has been stuck in my mind that I keep singing it all day everyday for past one week. I have asked her to practise another song lol!
Anyway, here is my card for CFC #46
Supplies:
Cardstock: Aqua card and envelope set from Typo
Stamps: Dictionary Greetings and Just Saying Hi from Hero Arts
Inks: Aqua Mist ink from PTI, Archival Jet Black Ink
Accessories: Computer for generating sentiment.
I bought a few cards and envelopes of different colours from a shop called Typo here in Australia. I love it because of matching envelopes and also that the cards have a white core and when you sand them the white comes out. You can see it on my card inner panel. Love it.
The tune goes like this
It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word
And then that word grew louder and louder
'Til it was a battle cry
I'll come back
When you call me
No need to say goodbye
Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word
And then that word grew louder and louder
'Til it was a battle cry
I'll come back
When you call me
No need to say goodbye
I changed the sentiment to Just Call! No need to say Goodbye. This sentiment is computer generated.

Gawjus! I have both those stamp sets and hardly ever use them. You have inspired me greatly. But what is really the clincher is that incredible tourquoise card base. Shivers! It's unreal!
ReplyDeleteLove this one Gaytari, the colour is beautiful and the sentiment is perfect.
