Here is my take on the challenge.
I have used strips of red and white striped washi tape on my card.

Supplies: 

Cardstock: Stampers Select White and Aqua Mist from PTI

Stamp Set: Damask Doilies from Wplus9

Ink: Archival Jet Black Ink and Paciific Point from SU.

Accessories: Washi tape from Typo shop, corner chopmer from WMK and wood veneer people icons from Studio Calico.
