Welcome back to My Favorite Things New Release Countdown.
Six more days to the new release.
Today I am sharing two cards again.
This first card using Fishnet Cover-up Die-namics and I have also used Blueprint 12 Die-namics.
This first card using Fishnet Cover-up Die-namics and I have also used Blueprint 12 Die-namics.
On a white cardstock I brushed gesso randomly using a large wide brush. I did not cover the entire card stock with gesso just a few strokes here and there. Then sponged with various colour inks. I then trimmed the cardstock and ran it through the Fishnet Cover-up Die-namics. I used the remaining sponged card stock to diecut the flowers, panel and banners using the Blueprint 12 Die-namics. The gesso resist gives gorgeous colours and texture to the diecuts and the card as a whole. Love it.
Here is a closeup of the card.
On this second card, I have used Pure Innocence Sailor Girl stamp set as my main focus.
How cute is the sailor girl? I remember having one such top with the sailor collar as a child. It was a very loved top. Anyway, I enjoyed colouring the sailor girl with fond memories. The red stripes on the background is using Striped stencil sponged with ink. The sentiment is part of the stamp set. The anchor is a die from a set to be revealed later. I die cut and added some gold glitter. Finally used enamel dots to accent.
Hope you liked my two projects using the new stamp sets and dies by My Favorite Things.
