CAS(E) this Sketch #80

Second post for today. My CASE Study challenge post is HERE!

I am always excited to bring you a new sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge. Sketches are my favourite as they save me planning time. So I love sketches. This new sketch for this week is designed by Joni Andaya!

Here is my take on this fab sketch.

Happy Birthday!

I have done a lot of sponging on this card. First I used the Memory Box Texture Shine stencil and sponged some distress inks. Then die cut three balloons from Simon Says Stamp. For the middle element, I used Pretty Pink Posh's stitched curved die from the Stitched Border die set to die cut. I sponged Crushed Olive distress ink on the top and bottom of the element. I sponged some Sea Glass dye ink form Simon Says Stamp on the card front. That is a lot of sponging right? I really don't know what I will do without distress ink. Seriously! I love them so much. I am sure you will agree with me. The happy birthday die is from Simon Says Stamp. I diecut three of them and stack glued them to give some dimension. Basically assembled all the elements as per sketch. Finally some enamel dots to finish the card. I really love the rays on the balloons.

Check out CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog to see how the design team and guest designer interpreted this sketch. Come and play along with me.

I am also entering my card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Stencil It!

Thanks for stopping by!
