When I saw this picture, OMG! I really love the white pebbles and on a frosted plate on white washed wooden table. Wowers! How gorgeous and pure is this picture? I love how frosted plate gives a glow like feel. I really want to achieve that effect on my card. Before I show you my card, we have an awesome new sponsor, Unity Stamp Company!
Unity provided each of the Curtain Call designers with an Itty Bitty stamp set for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Something Simple! Thank you so much for your generosity. The stamp set is lovely.
The LEAD of this challenge will receive a gift certificate to Unity Stamp Company!
Now this is my card inspired by Something Simple picture.
I basically wanted to get that glow feel on my card. So I stamped my flower using fourth generation stamping so I get a very faint outline of the flower. I then shaded and coloured using grey copics with a tint of blue on the flowers and green on the leaves. I repeated the same on a scrap piece of white card stock and cut out the flower along to layer it on the original one. For the glow, I used a oval die and drew the outline using pencil very lightly. I then used grey copic maker and flicked the colour inside from the outline. Once finished, I erased the pencil outline. I have used stamp positioner to stamp my sentiment as Unity stamps are rubber stamps and I did not want to get my sentiment crooked after putting in a lot of work on the flower and glow. I finally accented with some gorgeous Sparkly Clear 6mm and 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
Check out the gorgeous projects from the rest of the designers. Here is the list for you.
