Stretch you Stamps 2 Class Homework Day #3

Good morning dear friends from the beautiful Perth Australia. Beautiful fog outside. Sun is just coming out. Kids already at school. I thought I will share with you a card I made for Stretch Your Stamps 2 online class day #3

Here is my card.

Amazing card flat

For this card I have used Simply Fabulous Sayings from My Favorite Things and Ranger's speech bubble mask. I liked the sentiment I have used because it perfectly coordinates with the speech bubble. Techniques I have used are masking, stamping and sponging with distress inks. I stamped with darker shade of the colour like Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean, then sponged with lighter shades like Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick and Broken China. I also used the darker distress inks to sponged the edges to give depth to the speech bubbles. Then I heat embossed the big sentiment in black. I also sponged the edges of the card panel with Spun Sugar distress inks. Mounted this panel to the card front. Finally accented with enamel dots.

Amazing card vertical

Sorry for the bad photo. It was a very cloudy and rainy day yesterday. No light whatsoever. I love taking photos in natural light. Since sun is out today, I will take a photo of the card today and replace it as soon as possible.

Thanks for stopping by!
