As part of the celebrations, there are three delicious inspiration cupcake challenges for you to play along. There are three huge prize packages with $600 from 30 very generous sponsors. Winnie & Walter is one of the sponsor. As part of their design team, I made projects for couple of their challenges.
This is my card for the challenge.
I did watercolouring technique using images from Winnie & Walter's Sugar Rush stamp set. Added some detail using black fineliner. I then added some diamond stickles on the icing of the cupcake and gold stickles on the sparkles. Once dry, I black heat embossed the sentiment. I die cut this panel using the smaller frame from Essentials: Katherine Cutaways and mounted the panel on the card front. No card of mine is complete without Pretty Pink Posh's sequins. I have used Sparkly Clear 6mm and 4mm on my card. Here is a closeup.
Here is the second challenge. It is a colour challenge.
These challenges are perfect with Winne & Walter's new release stamp sets. Here is my card for the challenge.
I have used the donuts from the Sugar Rush Stamp Set over the cupcake base. I stamped and coloured them with copics, cut them out and layered them over the tag from Essentials: Katherine Cutaway over the blue colour wash background. I then stamped the banner in green and sentiment in black over it, cut them out and foam mounted them. To bring the colours together, I added coordinating pattern papers on the back of the panel.I added green twine to the tag, Mossy Green sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and a paper clip to keep the layers together. Here is a closeup of the card.
Now you have two weeks to play the challenges. So get stuck in because like I said there are three huge prize packs worth $600 from 30 generous sponsors. Check out Cupcake Inspiration Challenge Blog for all the details.
