Simon Says Thinking of You!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Thanks/Thanksgiving Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too

This week the challenge is Thinking of You!

The background for my card is inspired by Jennifer McGuire's video on monochromatic layering.  I used the flowers and leaves from Hero Arts Layering Bird and Branch set. I used blue cardstock as my base, then stamped the solid images with Soft Navy ink covering the entire panel. Then I used Hero Arts Unicorn White pigment ink to stamped the layering images. I love how bright the white pigment ink is on the dark blue ink. I filled in the gaps with circles from Happy Stamp and Cut from Hero Arts. The background is beautiful. Thank you Jennifer for sharing this cool technique.
I then added a stitched frame layer  made using Stitched Rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp. The  vellum leaves are from Simon Says stamp Clustered Leaves die. I them stamped the sentiment from Summer Garden stamp set using Soft Navy ink on a rectangle piece of white cardstock. I adhered the leaves behind the rectangle sentiment panel then adhered the panel using foam adhesives. Finally embellished with Pretty Pink Posh's Clear Droplets and Blue Lagoon iridescent sequins.
