It's time for fall!

Welcome back dear friends,

Today is day #2 of Taylored Expressions new release sneak peeks. Yesterday was sneak peek day #1 and if you haven't seen my projects for day #1, CLICK HERE!

Today's theme is Fall! I am showcasing two new products today. My first is brand new to Taylored Expressions - background rubber cling stamps. Yes, we now have background stamps in the collection. I am showcasing the new Birch Tree background stamp with Woodsy Wishes stamp set and coordinating dies.

These two stamp sets go well with each other. Here is my card.

I have white heat embossed the Birch Tree background on a white panel. Then sponged Jelly Donut, Candy Corn and Lemon Meringue TE dye inks to give fall sunset background feel. Toward the bottom of the card, I die cut two rolling hills using Granny Smith cardstock and Build a Scene Rolling Hills dies. I sponged Peapod TE dye ink to give a bit of depth. I layered and adhered them both. This is my background.

I then stamped, copic coloured and die cut the animal images from Woodsy Wishes stamp set and adhered them on the rolling hills using foam adhesives. These critters are so cute. Absolutely love critters.

The sentiment from Woodsy Wishes stamp set is white heat embossed on Oreo cardstock, trimmed and adhered using foam adhesives. Finally embellished with sequins from Rainbow Bright sequins collection. Love how colourful this card turned out. All the supplies for this card are listed below.

The second new product I am showcasing today is a cutting plate called Thanks Cutting Plate. This cutting plate is beautiful with plenty of details on them.

I sponged watercolour paper with the new Mulled Wine, Dijon, Basil TE dye inks. Then to add layers and intense color, I smooshed them with Wild Honey, Aged Mahogany, Festive Berries and Forest Moss distress inks. I then die cut this panel using the Thanks cutting plate. I also die cut three more using white cardstock. I stacked glued them all for added dimension you can see below.

I adhered this stacked Thanks die cut on a white card base. The white card base makes the colours on the cutting plate pop! I embellished with sequins from Harvest sequins collection. All the supplies used to make this card is listed below.

  1. I like the use of the brighter colors for a fall themed card. As usual you think outside the box and I always enjoy the creativity that brings and what it sparks in my thought process. Thank you.
