CAS(E) this Sketch #71

Second post for today. Here is my first post Virginia's View Challenge Card

it is time to share with you a new sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog.
This sketch is designed by me :)

And here is my take on my own sketch.

Celebrate card for cas(e) this sketch

I have used Tim Holtz's spatter stencil and sponged some Audrey Blue ink from Simon Says Stamp and Orange Soda from Hero Arts to get my spatter background. I then diecut a Delicate Doilie from MFT using vellum cardstock which I layered with bunched up thread. The word CELEBRATE is also a die from MFT which I die cut in blue and black card stock. I have layered the black diecut on the blue diecut which is slightly offset like casting a shadow except that my shadow is blue not black :)  That is because I wanted my sentiment to be bold and not bluey. You know what I mean? Did not want too much blue as there is two huge blue spatter on the background already. Finally accented with Pretty Pink Posh's Sparkly clear sequins.

Check out CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog for design team and guest designer take on my sketch. If you like to play along the sketch, we love to see it. The blog has a linky for you to link your projects.

Have a great day!
