CAS(E) this Sketch #84

Hey, it is me again! This is my second post for today, Here is my CASE Study post.

I have a new sketch for you from CAS(E) this Sketch challenge blog.
This new sketch is by Chrissy Larson.

This is my take on the sketch.

I used Magnolias For Her stamp set from Altenew to stamp and watercolour the flowers. I have used watercolour paper, masked off a strip for stamping the sentiment, then stamped the flowers using Archival black ink. Then I have used Dusty Concord and Salty Ocean to colour the flowers. Then Mustard Seed distress ink to colour the stamen and also to colour wash the outside of the flowers. This adds depth to the flowers. Once dry, I removed the mask, stamped the sentiment from Super Script stamp set. I have added some shimmer to the sentiment as well as the flowers using Wink of Stella clear pen.
