I made a Christmas card using Clearly Besotted Stamps. This stamp set is called Joy to the World. This is an older stamp set but one of my favourite Christmas stamp set.

I stamped the background of the card with the trees from the stamp set using Soft Leaf dye ink from Hero Arts. This is a beautiful muted green. Perfect for background. Soft and subtle.

For the focal point, I stamped the wreath from the stamp set using green pigment ink and red details on the wreath using red pigment ink. The pigment inks are from Mama Elephant and Avery Elle. I similarly stamped the bow, die cut both of them out using the coordinating dies. I adhered them on a vellum panel using foam adhesive for dimension. I also edged the vellum with gold pigment ink. Then I adhered this vellum panel on the card front using foam adhesives hidden behind the wreath and bow. The sentiment is white heat embossed on black strip of cardstock and adhered again using foam adhesive. Then I added 4mm gold sequins on the wreath as embellishments. Thats all! Simple and easy to make.

Simon Says Gift It!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Clean and Simple  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

I have used Clearly Besotted stamp set to dress up an envelope gift card holder.

The stamp I used from Clearly Besotted is called Sweet Treats. Love this stamp set. Absolutely adorable images. I simply stamped the cupcake image randomly on a watercolour panel filling in with the speech bubble sentiment also from the stamp set.  I coloured them using Zig clean brush watercolour pens. I then used one of the stitched rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp to die cut two panels. I also used the same die to cut another panel out of white cardstock. Then I took an black colour envelope, folded in half. Cut the flap in half and adhered the flap on the left side of the envelope in place. I adhered the stamped and watercoloured panel on the front and back of the folded envelope using foam adhesives. 

I adhered the plain white panel on the inside of the folded envelope where the flap is adhered. This panel is adhered flush so one can write on it. The other side has the pocket to hold the gift card.

On the front of the card, I added a layer of vellum die cut using stitched rectangle die, The sentiment is stamped on a strip of white card stock. I also stamped the cupcake image from the stamp set on watercolour paper, coloured with Zig pens and cut it out with scissors. I adhered this on the vellum layer. I embellished with Sparkly Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Here is a collage of the gift card holder front, back and inside.

This gift card holder is very easy to make. Great for last minute gifts. Hope you like it. As always I have listed all the products I used to make this card below.

Simon Says A Bit of Green!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Touchy Feely Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too

This week the challenge is A Bit O' Green!

This is my take on the challenge using Delightful Day  Stamp Set from Clearly Besotted Stamp set!

I white heat embossed the bouquet of roses from the stamp set and watercoloured using Zig clean brush pens. I also added some red glitter using Spectrum Aqua glitter pen. To keep with the theme of the challenge, I added green colour wash around the bouquet. The sentiment is heat embossed using Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I die cut this panel using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die, wrapped natural twine around the panel and layered with another stitched panel die cut using pattern paper. Finally embellished with Pretty Pink Posh's Espresso sequins. I mounted the layered panels on kraft card base.  I love green and kraft colours together. Give a very earthy and organic feel to it.
