Tag You're It Challenge #23

Hello friends,

I have a tag share for you today. This tag I made for Tag You're It Challenge #23. 

Here is the inspiration tag for the challenge.

This is Tracey's tags. So adorable. What inspired me is the banner tag and the red die cut element on the tags. So keeping those in mind, here is my take on the challenge.

The banner die cut is from Pretty Pink Posh's Stitched Banner Duo die set. I die cut one using vellum cardstock and one using white cardstock. The bird die is called Flight of Fancy from Penny Black. I die cut three using white cardstock, then coloured with three different shades of red Copic markers. I  used R32, R24 and R37. Hex chart was very useful to pick the colours. I then glued them slightly offset to each other. Love the ombre of birds here. This ombre cluster is adhered to the vellum cardstock using foam adhesive for dimension. The sentiment is from Pretty Petals stamp set from Penny Black. I simply stamped in black ink and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I layered the two banner die cuts, punched couple of holes and threaded some black twine. Finally the birdies received some shimmer using Wink of Stella pen.

Tag You're it Challenge #21

I have a new Tag You're It Challenge for you today to play.
 The inspiration for this challenge is Erin Thiem's tag below.

My tag is inspired by the layout of Erin's tag. So pretty much stuck to the layout but used other elements and colours on my tag.

I sponged blue and purple distress inks on my tag. And stamped the image from Penny Black's Sprigs stamp set in black ink for the background of my tag. I added a vellum circle to soften tthe background. The floral die cut is from Penny Black called Playful Posies. I sprayed a cardstock with pink Dylusions ink, the die cut the posies. The senitment die cut is also from Penny Black called Celebrations. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh called Sparkly Clear.

Tag You're It Challenge #19

It is time for another Tag You're it Challenge. 

This time we have a gorgeous tag by Jeanne Jachna as inspiration.

I love the layout of the tag The patterned background, the die cuts and wider sentiment panel.

So here is my take on the tag.

I have used one of the tag from MFT Stitched Stax Tag die namics as my tag. I sponged Mustard Seed and Wild Honey distress ink then Vintage Photo on the edges. I have used Blips background stamp from Penny Black on my background. I cut a strip of vellum with fish tail end and adhered to the tag.

The die cut is also from Penny Black. It is called Lively. I sponged some Dusty Concord and Seedless Preserve distress ink on a white cardstock. Then die cut the Lively die from Penny Black. I then sponged some Chipped Sapphire distress ink on the edges. Once dry, I brushed some clear Wink of Stella shimmer. LOVE the shimmer on the leaves.

I adhered this leaf die cut on the tag using foam adhesives.  Then stamped the sentiment from Pretty Petal stamp set also from Penny Black on a piece of cardstock sponged with Salty Ocean distress ink. I layered this piece with another piece of cardstock sponged with Dusty Concord distress ink before I adhered on the tag. Finally embellished with some gorgeous Orchid, Pansy Purple and Amethyst sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Tag You're it challenge #17

Good morning everyone,

I am late in getting my Tag You're It Challenge on my blog. Two reasons: stomach bug and exhaustion from visiting you know where :( I am feeling better this morning. So far so good. a few tubs of yoghurt is helping. Anyway, here is my the new tag You're It Challenge #17

This tag card is my card and I think I made it for Tag You're It challenge last year. This is the challenge inspiration for this week's challenge.

Here is my new tag card inspired by the one above.

For this card, I kept the layout the same. Infact I went for cleaner version than the one above. I wanted to do muter earthier tones. So my card base is a mute green with my inner panel in fog colour. The flowers are from Essentials By Ellen new release called Bold Blooms. I did watercolour smooshing technique using Storm Sky and Peeled Paint distress inks before die cutting the flowers and leaves respectively. I have layered the smaller flower die cut over the larger one. The flowers are brushed with Wink of Stella clear shimmer pen.  At this point I love the colour combination.

The sentiment is from another Essentials By Ellen stamp set called Hello Gorgeous. I love the brush stroke font sentiments in this set. Bold and casual. Finally I have used sequins in the colours of Cobalt and Espresso from Pretty Pink Posh.

Tag You're It Challenge #15

Hello folks,

I have a new Tag You're it Challenge. 

For this challenge we have this Donna Mikasa's beautiful and colourful watercoloured  fish card as the inspiration. So create a tag or a tag card using Donna's card as inspirations.

I love the watercoloured images paired with a dark colour cardstock.

 Here is my take.

I have used Ice Cream Dream stamp set on my tag. I stamped the icy poles in black and watercoloured them in shades of pink and purple. Then tying the purples in the icy poles with a purple scalloped frame. I simply stamped the sentiment, trimmed and used foam adhesives to adhere. I love the simplicity of the tag card with emphasis on the colours.

Tag You're It Challenge #12.

Sharing with you new Tag You're It challenge #12.

Here is Tracey's Jingle all the way tag as inspiration.

I am simply inspired by the die cut elements and the sentiment on the tag. So here is my take on Tracey's tag.

I decided to make a tag card instead of a tag. I have used diecut elements and sentiment on my tag(s) on the card. The die cut element are the poinsettias from Simon Says Stamp. The tags are from My Favorite Things. The die cut sentiment is from Essentials by Ellen Merry & Bright dies.

The poinsettias are real beauties. They are tiny but pretty adorable. I did hesitate to die cut them because of its size. But once I started, I could not stop. They are so adorable. I have a tutorial on this tag card tomorrow. So not giving away many details at the moment. :) Here is a closeup.

Tag You're It with Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Dear friends,

I have new Tag You're It Challenge #11 today.

This challenge's inspiration is this Maureen Merritt's gorgeous card.

Tracey McNeely asked Tag You're It Design Team to play along with her the 25 Days of Christmas Tags she has been hosting. As part of the team, I am play along using Maureen Merritt's tag card as the inspiration.

I love Maureen's tag card. Love the die cut background and layered tags. Inspired by these, here is my tag card.

I have used the horizontal cover die from MFT to die cut my background panel. I then sponged some Fresh Peach ink from Simon Says Stamp on the negative strips from the diecut panel and popped it right back in place and glued the entire diecut down to the card front.

For the layered tags,  have used tags from MFT again which I die cut  twice from white cardstock.  I inked one tag completely with Mint Julep ink from Simon Says Stamp. On the second tag I have stamped the sentiment and layered the ornaments from Ornamental Style stamp set from Clearly Besotted.  I brushed Wink of Stella clear shimmer on he ornaments for the festive look on the Christmas card. I love the coral and mint colour combination. So trendy for a Christmas card.

Now I also made a coordinating tag as well

For the coordinating tag, I did exactly the same process except revered the colours. I coloured the layered tag with coral and the ornaments with mint.  You can see the shimmer on the ornament on this tag picture.

Hope you like my take on TYIC tag card. I am very thrilled with how they turned out especially the colour combination.

Tag You're it Challenge #10

Hey everybody,

Welcome back! This is my third post for today. Here is my first and second posts.

I have a new Tag You're It challenge for you today.
Today's challenge inspiration is this pretty Lynn Put's tag card.

 I really love the three banners and the tag with the floral elements and sentiment. Here is my take on the challenge.

Well, I have a holiday card for you. On my card, I have three banners and a tag with an holiday element and sentiment. I changed the orientation and the theme of the card. So I added the banners and other elements based on the holiday theme. I love the gold sprinkles on the wreath and the gorgeous bow. This set and coordinating dies are from Clearly Besotted called Joy to the World. 

The tag is from My Favorite Things. Pattern papers from Kaisercraft. Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
