For the last challenge this month the theme is Anything Goes

We, designers have used Lawn Fawn products to make our cards for the challenge. You don't have to use Lawn Fawn products. Anything goes - card, tag, 3D, scrapbook page, PL using any products. So come and play along. Here is my card for the challenge.

SSS Lawn Fawn card

I have used Lawn Fawn's Flutter By stamp set to stamp my flower and leaves images on my card front using Versafine black ink. Then used water colour to colour randomly not to take care to coloured inside the lines. I have then used the pattern paper also from Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine collection as a border on the card front. I finally embellished the card using Lawn Fawn's Hello Sunshine Mixed sequins. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I love the random watercolouring on the outline stamped image.  Hope you like it.

Pretty Pink Posh Sequin Shaker Blog Hop

Hello everybody,

Welcome to Pretty Pink Posh Sequin Shaker Blog Hop.

I am so honoured and thrilled to be guest designing for this blog hop. Thank you Paulina for having me :) I absolutely love Pretty Pink Posh's sequins. As you all know, 99% of my cards are finished with sequins lol!
But for this blog hop I have two shaker cards. Here is my first shaker card.

Shaker box card

I made a shaker card using Pretty Pink Sequins - Sparkling Clear, Shamrock, Raspberry, Pink Peonies, Marshmallow and Espresso. Love the gorgeous sequins behind the gold foil birthday wishes diecut. Here is another shot of the shaker card. This card needs not other embellishments in my opinion.

Shaker box at an angle

And here is my second shaker box card. This time I have used Springtime Mix and Sparkling Clear sequins for my next card.

Love you always shaker card 1

The frame die is from MFT called Centerpieces Framed Love Birds. I die cut using brown glitter paper added Lawn Fawn pattern paper on the background and sequins to make shaker box. I die cut the birds in coral glitter paper and glued on top of the existing birds. The floss is from Pretty Pink Posh as well. The layered flower sequins are from the Springtime Sequins Mix. The sentiment is from Winnie & Walter's The Big, The Bold and The Happy stamp set.

Love you always card

For CASE Study Challenge Design Team Call

Hello everybody,

After a week's break I sat down to make a card for CASE Study Design Team Challenge Call. The challenge is to create a paper crafting project inspired by your own personal 'Muse'. My personal 'Muse' is Iwona Palamountain (Chupa) herself. This card she made some time ago is still my personal favourite.

I have no words to describe how much I love this card. One layer, gorgeous, perfectly balanced, looks like printed not hand made. Perfect in all ways. My jaws dropped when I saw it for the first time. This is actually a postcard, Iwona had made. I wanted to CASE this card for a long time. I took this design team call as the opportunity to CASE this gorgeous card. Here is my take.

Cherished Friend

My card base is cream card stock. I stamped the images from Flourishes Stamp set called Bloom' Aussie Floral and coloured in copics. Then sponged the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I then ran the card front through the cuttlebug using a PTI impression plate to get some texture. I also brushed the berries with Wink of Stella shimmer pen. The sentiment is from a stamp set called Cherished from The Craft's Meow. So sad this company closed because they had some beautiful stamp sets. I was so lucky to design for them. I stamped the smaller elaborate sentiment three times to create a border on the bottom of the card front. The larger sentiment is stamped on a strip of card stock which is trimmed to get the fish tail banner ends. Then sponged with distress ink. This sentiment strip is mounted using foam adhesives. Finally I have added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh Nature Mix Sequins. This Nature Mix sequins has the perfect coloured sequins for my card.
I am very happy with the way my CASE card turned out. It is always tricky to CASE a gorgeous card. Original is the best. But I like mine as well :) Thanks for the opportunity, Iwona.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Hello everybody,

Welcome to another challenge from Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog.
I am guest designing for the challenges this month.

Today challenge is to make Clean and Simple cards. One Layer cards are optional.

We designers have used Hero Arts products to make our CAS/one layer cards. You don't have to use Hero Arts product. any CAS/one layer card is perfect to enter the challenge.
Here is mine.

SSS Hero Arts Card

For my card I have used the Diamond Cling background stamp from Hero Arts/Studio Calico. I simply inked them with distress inks then sprayed with water and stamped on a white cardstock. Trimmed the panel, matted with black card stock and adhered to the card front using foam adhesives. For the sentiment I have used Many Birthday Messages from Hero Art stamp set to stamped on a cardstock, trimmed and adhered over bunched up thread to the card front. Finally used some black sequins to accent. Clean and simple and can be mass produced if needed. Love the rainbow of colours on the background.

Well, I also made a one layer card. CAS/one layer is my style of card making. So I got carried away making cards for this challenge.

SSS Hero Arts One layer card

For this card I die cut a long rectangle from masking sheet and adhered on the card front on the bottom right side. I then inked the Large Flower Background Stamp from Hero Arts with gold Delicata Golden Glitz pigment ink from Tsukineko and stamped on the card front. I love the gold ink on this outline background stamp. Very elegant! I then removed the mask and stamped the sentiment from Many Birthday Messages Stamp Set from Hero Arts. I also love the gold and silver together. So instead of using coloured sequins to accent my card, I used silver heart shaped sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  This card can also be mass produced using different background stamps and coloured inks for various occasions.

One lucky winner will receive $50 gift voucher to buy goodies from Simon Says Stamp Store. Check out the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog for details.

I cannot wait to see what you do with the challenge.

CAS(E) this Sketch #73 meets Runaway Inspired Challenge

Welcome to a collaborative challenge between CAS(E) this Sketch and Runaway Inspired Challenge

So we have an inspirational photo as well as the sketch. How cool is that? This collaborative challenge takes away 90% of the planning time in making a card, Right? It was so easy to choose the stamp sets and colours then make my card. Here is my card for the challenges.

Congratulations card

I have used the background stamp from Hero Arts to stamp on white cardstock. I then die cut this stamp background using large scalloped oval from Frame It Oval dies from Stampin' up!. Trimmed the oval die cut into half vertically and adhered on the black panel. I have used Gold Colour Shine from Heidi Swapp to spatter some gold ink. I love how the spatter retained its shape. The flower and leaf images are from Avery Elle stamp set called Petals and Stems. I stamped and also coloured using copics to add some shading. The stamped images are then cut out and layered into a cluster to adhere as in the sketch. The sentiment is simply stamped in a strip of white cardstock and trimmed to adhere on the panel. The completed black panel is adhere on to the card base.

Check out both CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog as well as Runaway Inspired Challenge Blog for design team inspiration. You are in for an eye candy to get inspired. This week's challenge runs for two weeks. So you have plenty of time to get creative. Cannot wait to see what you do.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Hello and welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

I am guest designing this month for the challenge Yay!

This week's challenge is about Animal Antics. I have used Stampendous stamp set on my card.

SSS Stampedeous stamps

I stamped and watercoloured the pig image from Stampendous On the Farm Stamp Set. I then cut the image out. For the background I diecut Sunshine die from Simon Says Stamp from a white panel. Adhered adhesive sheet on the back of the die cut. I then added gold and orange glitters to the sunburst and blended them. Love the sparkle fro the glitter. I then adhere the pig image using foam adhesive. For the sentiment I die cut the Talk Bubble die from Simon Says Stamp and stamped the sentiment. I also die cut a cloud from Where the Heart is dies also from Simon Says Stamp which I layered behind the Talk Bubble die. The completed panel is mounted on the card front.  Love the result. Hope you do too.

Confetti Crush - Curtain Call Inspirational Challenge

We have a fantastic new sponsor, Reverse Confetti, for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Confetti Crush!  The LEAD of this challenge will receive a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store!

Jen from Reverse Confetti was kind enough to provide us (design team) with a discount voucher to the shop. Thank you so much, Jen!

Reverse Confetti card

I am inspired by the colours on the inspirational picture. So I water coloured the background using those colours. I then stamped the sentiment on it when dry. I love a bold sentiment. I then stamped the leaves diagonally across to frame the sentiment. I die cut the flowers from scrap piece of water coloured paper and layered it. Finally accented with sequins. I then used the Wink of Stella shimmer pen and brushed the "COLOR"  as well as the leaves. This panel is layered over pattern paper from Pink Paislee which is then adhered to the card front. Love the result.

The Curtain Call is over the moon that the owner of Reverse Confetti, Jen del Muro, is joining us today for the Confetti Crush challenge.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Hello and welcome to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

I am guest designing this month for the challenge Yay!

Since we are close to Easter, our challenge this week is create an Easter/Spring card

I have used some Basic Grey products to make my card for the challenge.
Here is my card.

SSS Basic Grey card

I decided to make a spring card using Basic Grey Fresh Cuts pattern paper for the background and Fresh Cuts Wood Veneers embellishments. One the wood veneer embellishments, I decided I wanted some glitter. So I added double sided tape on the clouds and added gold glitter. I did the same on the butterfly body and used pink glitter. Love the bright, colourful and cheerful spring card. The sentiment is using Basic Grey alpha stickers. I also added a strip of floral pattern paper on the inside of the card and "Spring" using alpha stickers

SSS Basic Grey card inside
