Welcome to another challenge from Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog.
I am guest designing for the challenges this month.
Today challenge is to make Clean and Simple cards. One Layer cards are optional.
We designers have used Hero Arts products to make our CAS/one layer cards. You don't have to use Hero Arts product. any CAS/one layer card is perfect to enter the challenge.
Here is mine.
Here is mine.
For my card I have used the Diamond Cling background stamp from Hero Arts/Studio Calico. I simply inked them with distress inks then sprayed with water and stamped on a white cardstock. Trimmed the panel, matted with black card stock and adhered to the card front using foam adhesives. For the sentiment I have used Many Birthday Messages from Hero Art stamp set to stamped on a cardstock, trimmed and adhered over bunched up thread to the card front. Finally used some black sequins to accent. Clean and simple and can be mass produced if needed. Love the rainbow of colours on the background.
Well, I also made a one layer card. CAS/one layer is my style of card making. So I got carried away making cards for this challenge.
For this card I die cut a long rectangle from masking sheet and adhered on the card front on the bottom right side. I then inked the Large Flower Background Stamp from Hero Arts with gold Delicata Golden Glitz pigment ink from Tsukineko and stamped on the card front. I love the gold ink on this outline background stamp. Very elegant! I then removed the mask and stamped the sentiment from Many Birthday Messages Stamp Set from Hero Arts. I also love the gold and silver together. So instead of using coloured sequins to accent my card, I used silver heart shaped sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. This card can also be mass produced using different background stamps and coloured inks for various occasions.
One lucky winner will receive $50 gift voucher to buy goodies from Simon Says Stamp Store. Check out the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog for details.
