You my friend sparkle & shine

I used Winnie and Walter's So Precious stamp set to white heat emboss the diamond images and watercolour them with Zig Clean Brush pens. The sentiment is from same stamp set with die cut "friend" using The Big, the Bold and  Friends cutaway also from Winnie & Walter. Embellished with the pretty Sparkly Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

See that card inside a circle on the right side for designing with clouds theme! Thats the one. Here is the full reveal.

Beautiful you card

I have used Taylored Expressions Build a Scene: Rolling Clouds dies to make my background. I die cut  the clouds, sponged distress inks on them and then layered glued them to make my background. To keep the background as the highlight because that is the theme, I added another die cut as the sentiment in contrast colour. The sentiment is from Essentials by Ellen. And embellished with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkly Clear sequins. Hope you like it.

Publication! Woot! Woot!

Good morning!
A quick post this morning sharing a woot woot! The new Christmas Edition of Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft is now released.

I have two set of Christmas cards published in the magazine. I wanted to share with you one of my cards from a set of two today.

Penny Black publication card

This is one of the cards using Penny Black cling stamp set called Festive Floral stamp set and Red Star stamp set for sentiment. The base of the card is acetate with the focal panel using chalkboard technique. I gold embossed the focal image and embellished the berries with Pretty Pink Posh metallic red sequins. The sentiment is heat embossed in white. Then I sponged some white pigment ink randomly to give the used chalkboard effect. Simple card with an unusual base and a technique.

You can check out the second card in this set and the other set of Christmas cards in the magazine. The Vol 22, No 2 is now available to subscribe or for purchase from all the supermarkets and news agencies across Australia and New Zealand :)

Thanks for stopping by this morning. I have couple of more post later this evening. So don't forget to stop by again today :)

Positive and Negative!

Hey everyone,

Stretching my supplies is something I love doing. Especially using a particular stamp set or a die in more than one way not only stretches my supplies but also makes crafting fun. It makes me think outside the box. In this post I am sharing a full card using the negative die cut and a sneak peek of the positive card. This is one of the easiest way to stretch your dies.

happy Birthday negative

I have used In a Word: Happy cutaway from Winnie & Walter to die cut from a blue ombre sponged panel. I saved the positive words and used the negative panel on my card above. Then used the positive words to make another similar looking card. Here is a sneak peek of the positive card.

If you want to know more about the cards, then check out the latest Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft magazine. You can see both the cards next to each other with the supplies and instructions to make them.

Woot! Woot!

Hello everyone,

I am a big woot woot to share with you today. The annual edition of Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft is now available to purchase. This edition is jam packed with so many inspirations and tutorials. It is a must have in my opinion.

I am truly blessed to be on the cover of the magazine with this Father's day card.

To the moon and back card

I am pretty proud of this card and was a bit restless waiting for so long to share with you. I did share a picture or two of the making of the card long time ago in my Instagram. But I am very thrilled with how this card turned out.

I have used Altenew's To the Moon stamp set on my card, sponged the night sky background using distress inks. The sentiments were from two stamp sets - Altenew's To the Moon and Parentville from Winnie & Walter.

Apart from this card, I have a double page 1 die 4 ways feature showcasing four different ways to feature a die. Also a tutorial on Watercoloured die cuts.

If you like to subscribe, click here! The magazine is available to purchase at news agents and supermarkets.

Thanks for sharing my excitement!

Hello everyone,

Excited to share one of my cards published in the latest Australian  Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine Vol: 21 No: 11!

This one is for Double Up Die Cutting theme - die cutting within a die cut.

happy Birthday die cut within a die cut

Here are instructions on how I made this card.
1     Make card base and sponge Tumbled Glass distress ink from the bottom of the card front fading towards the middle to the top.   Die cut the rounded tag from Stitched Duo 3 die set from Pretty Pink Posh using white cardstock. Then die cut the Leaf Column die twice with the second slightly below the first.  Die cut the tag using acetate sheet and adhere to the back of the white tag. Die cut two of the Leaf Column out of New Leaf Cardstock and inlay and glue them with glossy accent on the white tag with acetate backing to support. Leave it to dry. Ink the birds with Mustard Seed distress ink. White heat emboss the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock.  Adhere the tag on the card front using foam adhesive and bird on the leaf using glossy accent.  Adhere the sentiment strip using foam adhesives.  Accent with Sparkly Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. I have all products used on the card listed below.

I have one more card in it for using tiny frame theme. If you like to subscribe, here is the link.

Toot Toot!

I am over the moon today.
I received two magazines where my work is published.
The first one is Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft Magazine.

Can you identify the card from the cover? Yes! the pretty in pink card on the left :)
Here is the card.

One layer card

The colour is a bit off on my photo. Looks red right? The photo was taken some time ago. Anyway this card uses stamp sets from Clearly Besotted - Basic Stripes and Love Quotes stamp sets. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink called Ruby Rose Stamp set. This is a one layer card using masking technique. I love this card for the technique reason.

Ready for the second toot? This is in UK based online magazine called Papercraft Inspirations. My blog is been featured as Blog of the Month.

Feeling so blessed at the moment.
Thanks for sharing my excitement with me :)
See you soon with new sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch Blog.
