I am in a festive mood, alright!

I painted my nails glittery sliver lol! My nails are not perfectly shaped or polished perfectly nor are my fingers. They are scrawny and crooked! Nevertheless I wanted to share my glittery nails with you :)
Here are the pictures!

It was difficult to take photos because of the glare from the glitter. But my DH did try some stunts with the camera and got atleast couple of ok shots to share.

I like this picture above because of the pop of color from the frame and the layout if nice :)

My town is getting decorated for Christmas and so are the stores and offices. I am feeling the festive energy around me and thought why not I do something too! So I painted my nails glittery.
So do you feel festive? If so what are your doing? Let me know :)

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon...

CAS Christmas Cards

Sharing with you a few clean and simple Christmas cards I made.
These can also be mass produced

I particularly like the second Noel card because of its color richness. The last two are modern take on the Christmas cards. I prefer assorted Christmas cards rather than mass producing a single card. But how many ever I make there never seem to be enough, sigh!

I am submitting these cards for A passion for Papertry challenge :) Thanks for stopping by!
I had a great weekend, relaxing and crafting. I made couple of cupcake banners which I will share with your tomorrow :) Until then....take care....

Tis the season....

I woke up very early this morning (Charlie my puppy wakes me up early!) and was browsing through Kristina Werner's blog looking at her Holiday series cards and I came up a video she had done recently using Distress Ink from Tim Holtz. I pinned her video and here it is for you - Video by K. Werner.
I wanted to try it myself. So I did! Here is the card for you

The panel is made using the same method described by Kristina in her video. I used Spiced Marmalade, Fire Brick and  Peeled Paint and gold embossed PTI's Embellishment stamp image. Totally cool hun! Love it. I also spritzed SU's Gold Glow Smooch Spritz on it to give a shimmer gold glow :) Here is a closeup of the panel.

I have used CASual Friday Sketch to make this card. Here is the sketch for you.

If you like to play along then here is the link to the challenge blog.

I cannot wait to try more of Kristina's techniques. Thanks for stopping by!

Have a wonderful relaxing Sunday :)

Colour Q #111

Well, last night I had some time to play Color Q challenge. I love this color combination especially Rich RazzleBerry, Pumpkin Pie and Pear Pizzazz. They just look so rich and colorfull together. Click on the photo below for the challenge blog and play the challenge if you are interested.

And my take on the colors above.

I used a mix of Delightful Doliies, Mehndi  Medallion from Papertrey Ink and Mehndi Medallion from Wplus9 to create the background. The striped background is from Hero Arts cling stamp. Dies are from Papertrey Ink, ribbon from SU and PTI and so is the sentiment.

I also made a coordinating tag to go with the card.

We had gorgeous weather today. In mid 20s and cooler too. No burning eyes or feeling exhausted. Moreover its a Friday evening, Hurray! it is weekend tomorrow :) Every week comes and goes pretty quickly and before I know, it is going to be Christmas! Sigh!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a great weekend!

One more....

frame to share with you. This is another boy's frame but for a tween or teen.

All the products used in this project are from Papertrey Ink except the frame, versamark and embossing powder. I love doing up frames. I still have couple of Green frames and I bought 2 gorgeous glossy red frames today :) These will probably be dressed up for Christmas. So this not the last frame I will be sharing.

Today was the second hot day. Temperature went above 35 degree celsius again with a bit of wind too.  Felt like a furnace outside. Hope it cools a bit tomorrow. We all had  a good play and soak this evening on the lawn with water hose and sprinklers. Charlie loved all the sprinklers and kept running from one to another lol! All of us are now ready for dinner. Chapati and sabji... Yum!  I am hungry!

Thanks for stopping by!
