Hey there!

Hey there folks,

I have a few goodies from Create a Smile - stamps, stencils and some chipboard pieces. I haven't had a chance to play with them. So I took this opportunity to ink the stamp set and enter the guest designer contest. This is my card for the contest.

Hey there1

I have used images from Friends from the Woods stamp set from Create a Smile. I stamped and copic coloured them then cut them out. On the panel, I have die cut three Peek a Boo from Peek a Boo die from Pretty Pink Posh. I then sponged shades of blue distress ink under the diecut area on the card base. Then spattered some white ink. On the die cut panel, I sponged some yellow distress inks then stamped the branch and leaves. I mounted this panel on the cardbase, opened the Peek a Boo petals and foam mounted the images. Then stamped the sentiment three time with black ink and cut them out and foam mounted then as well. Finally accented with some Espresso 6mm and 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Here are couple of closeups.

I wanted to make a really colourful birthday card. So I stamped the streamers from The Party Hangover in yellow pigment ink. Then the ribbons from The Party stamp set in blue, green and yellow pigment ink to create the background. Then stamped, coloured and cut the present boxes. I layered the boxes on a tag.

Birthday box closeup

I also stamped the sentiment on the tag. I have used green twine on my tag. I love how colourful the card turned out.

Shaker card - Love you to the moon and back!

Hey folks,

I have this shaker card to share with you today.

Love you moon and back1

I love shaker cards and especially the process of making the shaker card is something I have kind of perfected. lol! I used to find them a bit tedious previously because I am a lazy person. Now that I have made so many and children who have received it all love them, I find it easier and fun to make them.

For this card, I have used Pretty Pink Posh's new release die set called Stitched Duo 3

And their gorgeous new seed beads - Raspberry, Marshmallow and Sparkly Clear inside the shaker card.

The stamped images and sentiment are from Penny Black. The owls are from I Heart You stamp set and sentiment is from So Very Much!

I heart you picture so very much picture

Here is the closeup of the card. I adore the owls and the sentiment.

Love you moon and back closeup1

The seed beads are gorgeous for the shaker box. It is second new favourite next to sequins :)

Mr. & Mrs.

Hello folks,

Sharing this card I made for my friend who wanted a wedding day card.

Mr & Mrs

I have used a lot of My Favorite Things products on this card. The floral cover die, the bride and bridegroom dies, the ampersand die and stamped Mr. and Mrs. images are all from MFT. I have used the classic colour combination of white, silver, gold and black for the groom. This card has lots and lots of layers and glam to it. Here is a closeup.

Mr & Mrs closeup

The silver heart shaped confetti is from Pretty Pink Posh. I am very happy with how this card turned out. My friend is thrilled with it too.

Winnie & Walter New Release Day #1

Welcome to day #1 of Winnie & Walter 1st birthday new release.

On day one we are premiering The Big, the Bold and Party stamp set, The Big, the Bold and Party cutaways and The Big, the Bold and You cutaways.

I have used the The Big, the Bold and Party stamp set to make an invitation card.

Invitation card 1

I have used fabric paper as my panel base, on which I have colourwashed some Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade and  Mustard Seed distress inks. Once dry I stamp the balloon from another new release stamp set using similar colour pigment inks plus neutral gray colour as well. I have then heat embossed the words fron The Big, the Bold and Party stamp set. This panel is then adhered to the card base.

Invitation inside1

I pretty much did the same process for the inside panel too. This invitation is nice and flat and easy to mail out too.

If you like The Big and Bold series and love this new stamp set, comment on the Winnie & Walter Blog to enter a chance to win not only this set but the cutaways as well. How awesome is that?

Winnie & Walter Blog also has more fabulous inspirations from Julie, Shay and rest of the design teams using these new release stamps and dies.

Come back tomorrow for day #2 of the release. There are some really fantastic stamp sets to be released :)

Bye for now!

Always and Forever!!!

Good morning!

How is the weekend treating you? In Australia, I have a long weekend. Monday is Australia Day. Monday is also Republic Day in India. Double celebrations for me one from birth country and one from my home country. It is going to be a very busy day with guest invited for dinner followed by getting to see the fireworks. Also last days of summer holidays before the school start for this year. Don't know about my children, but I am excited for them to get back to school. I want some "Me" time and get the house back in order and routine. Not doing very well the chaos at the moment. Anyway, that aside, I tried to squeeze in some craft time yesterday and played along My Favorite Things sketch challenge. This is my first sketch challenge in the new year.
This is this week's sketch for the challenge.

MFT sketches are versatile and easy to make it your own. That is the main reason I like playing along their sketch. Plus I LOVE MFT products.

Doodling is something I am obsessed with right now. I see them everywhere, on clothing, ads, stationery, cushions... I get the feeling that doodling will become trendy. Doodling does not only look beautiful but for me it get my drawing side into action. Doodling is also forgiving as there are no mistakes you can make. You can built upon your "mistakes" and keep going.

These doodle stamp set from MFT are my absolute favorites. I wish they bring out more of them. Like a building set, to create your own doodle background or focal point :)  I have used the Sunny Days Love It stamp set sentiment for the focal point and Sunny Days Border and Accent stamp set from MFT for the borders.

Always and Forevercard

I stamped  the images and coloured them using distress markers. I then blended the colours using watercolour brush. Love the shading and colouring that makes the image just pop. Here is a closeup.

Always and fovever closeup

That is it for today. I have a few card shares using new release goodies coming up next week. So stay tuned. Thanks for stopping by!

I heart you!

Hello folks,

I played with Penny Black dies today.  I have a card to share with you using them.
I also made this card for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Have a Heart

I heart you1

I have used the larger die in the Hearts in Circle die set from Penny Black to diecut on the white cardstock panel. Then I used a circle die to cut out a circle on the inside. I layered this panel on top of a watercolour paper colour washed with yellow and orange colours and spattered with white Mr. Huey. The Ardor die is sponged with Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry distress ink and brushed with pink Wink of Stella shimmer pen. I popped this Ardor die in the centre using foam adhesives. The sentiment is from I Heart You stamp set also from Penny Black.
