Way Cool! - No line colouring!

Evening everyone! For some, you probably waking up. Good morning to you all!

I have been hoarding some of images that I have been working on but did not have the time to make a card with them. Today I have been on a crafting marathon. I decided to make a card using one of the images, I had coloured long time ago. Here it is!

I started thinking this will be a one layer card and did no line colouring which I shared with you previously. I then stamped and coloured one more because once I finished the colouring, I felt it needed that bit more colour to balance the big coloured image on the bottom left. So I trimmed the card to a panel with an angle at the top. On a card base, I added some fun pattern paper from Create A Smile to colour coordinate with the image. I then layered the image panel using foam adhesives for dimension. Finally added some black glitter sprinkle from Doodlebug.

The stamp set is called Way Cool! 

Very cute images in this set. I love them I have coloured both the boys and cannot wait to colour the girls.

Pretty Pink Posh's Matching Game.

Me again! Second post for today. My first post sharing my projects using Winnie & Walter's April/May new release day #3 is HERE!

I am truly blessed to be part of Pretty Pink Posh design team. Thank you very much Paulina for having me for the third term.

I have a new card to share this announcement.

I have made a shaker card with inlaid Stitched Film Strip die and sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Did you see a new sequins in the shaker box? ;) These are new iridescent sequins. They are available to purchase from the shop tomorrow.

The cute critters are from Create A Smile Woodland Friends stamp set and the speech bubble sentiments are from Perfect Tune stamp set also from Create A Smile.

Today we are introducing three new designers to the team - Nicole, Yoonsun and Yuki.

Runway Inspired Challenge #81

Hello everyone,

I am very late in posting my Runway Inspired Challenge #81. I was away for Easter Holidays and had really bad internet connection.So could not write and publish my post. I am back now and here is my take on Runway Inspired Challenge #81 - Jeremy Scott.

What inspired me most in the photo was the colourful squares! I tried to recreate the squares on my card using Prima Marketing stencil. Here is my take on the challenge.



I sponged the distress inks in colours from the Jeremy Scott outfit on the card panel as my background.Then I picked the brightest colours from outfit to colour the flowers and leaves. The flower and leaves are Botanical Love stamp set from Create A Smile. I love this set for the beautiful flowers. I fuzzy cut the flower and leaves and adhered on the panel using foam adhesives.



For the sentiment, I have used Bossy Joscie's Hello Flair. I adhered this flair as the centre of the flower.

Today's card is for Create a Smile March Guest Designer Call.

I have a few goodies from Create a Smile - stamps, stencils and some chipboard pieces. I haven't had a chance to play with them. So I took this opportunity to ink the stamp set and enter the guest designer contest. This is my card for the contest.

I have used images from Friends from the Woods stamp set from Create a Smile. I stamped and copic coloured them then cut them out. On the panel, I have die cut three Peek a Boo from Peek a Boo die from Pretty Pink Posh. I then sponged shades of blue distress ink under the diecut area on the card base. Then spattered some white ink. On the die cut panel, I sponged some yellow distress inks then stamped the branch and leaves. I mounted this panel on the cardbase, opened the Peek a Boo petals and foam mounted the images. Then stamped the sentiment three time with black ink and cut them out and foam mounted then as well. Finally accented with some Espresso 6mm and 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Here are couple of closeups.

Create A Smile Blog Hop

This is my second post for today. This is my CASE Study challenge post.

Welcome to Create A Smile Blog Hop.

Create A Smile are a new stamps company in town - their first stamps were released in July 2014. The stamps are made of high quality photo-polymer and produced in Germany. They will for sure make you smile!

Create A Smile is releasing three sets TOMORROW! Here are the new set.

To celebrate the new release, a few of us designers are participating in this blog hop showcasing the new stamp sets. You should have arrived here from Kelly Latevola's blog. But if this is your first stop don't worry, I will give you the list of designers participating in this blog hop towards the end of the post.

Here are my projects using the new stamp set. This first stamp set I have used to make my card is called Whimsical Wheels. I love this set because of the cute transport images in this set. Not to mention the sentiments that go with it. The cute transport images are great for colouring in. Oh! you will find that my images and sentiments are larger than everybody else. That is because I am using digital images of the stamp set. So I have altered the size of the images before I printed them out an coloured them.

I have used the ambulance image from the set which I printed, coloured and cut it out. I also printed the sentiment and trimmed it down. One the card front, I sponged Black Soot distress ink so very slightly at the bottom of the card. I then glued a thin strip of gold foil cardstock. I mounted the ambulance using foam adhesive.

For the sentiment, I added Kelly Purkey red chevron washi tape and then added some bunched up thread before adhering the sentiment using foam adhesive. I then added some cute tiny heart wood veneer. I simply love how the card turned out. Eyes focuses on the ambulance and then diagonally drawn to the sentiment. Simple and focused.

Now to my second project, I have used the second new stamp set called Penguin Party. as the name suggest, the set has some adorable penguins in this set which is again great for colouring. On my card below, I have used digital image, so my images are altered in size and therefore larger in size.

I printed the penguin inside the gift box image coloured it, then diecut using Speech Bubble Insert die from Simon Says Stamp. This die has the solid die and then also cuts  the frame speech bubble as well. i have die cut the frame speech bubble using a scrap watercolour paper coloured washed with Black Soot distress ink. this gives nice texture. I have printed the sentiment speech bubble from the Penguin Party stamp set and cut it out.

On the card front, I have sponged some Mustard Seed distress ink on the top of the card front and Black Soot on the bottom of the card front. I then trimmed a pink pattern paper which I mounted on the card front using foam adhesives. Then layered the speech bubbles at various angles and diemensions using foam adhesives as well. I have used enamel dots to accent the colours of the image. Here is the close up.
