Stenciled Class Day #1

Good morning! Yesterday was so busy that although I made cards, I could not share. So here I am sharing two card made using sponging with stencils technique. I am in need of baby cards because I have five friends who are ready to pop out their little bundle of joy anytime now. I utilized this chance to create baby cards. Here they are.

Girl Baby card

I used Heidi Swapp Confetti stencils on y card. I sponged Worn Lipstick distress ink on diagonal ends of the panel. Then added some shimmer using the Wink of Stella and also some Diamond Stickles randomly. The tag dies and the stamps are from Wplus9 called Baby Onesies.
Here is the boy version of the same card.

Boy Baby Card!

The inks sponged here are Soft Pool and Mint Julep from Hero Arts. No shimmer on the stars but I have randomly added Diamond Stickles.
I love the pastel colours and the confetti stars on the background. The vellum tag softens the entire card. I am happy with how both the cards turned out. Today is a relaxing day. So hopping to get more done today :)

Baby cards and coordinating tags.

Gallery Idol 2012 girls have joined together for an awesome blog hop. It is called Shaping Up Blog Hop. I decided to play it along as well.

I decided to go for baby cards. Reason being I have the big onesie die from Papertrey Ink and recently added a smaller onesie die from Taylored Expressions to my collection. I thought to make onesie card and a coordinating tag for baby boy and girl.
Edited: Wondering why I chose baby cards for summer shaping up card challenge? Apparently more babies are born in Summer than Winter!

Here is the baby boy card and tag.

I chose to go for a clean and simple design. I have used the Fly Away dies from Papertrey Ink and  Bundle Of Love stamp set for my card and tag.

Here is the baby girl card and tag.

For the girl's card and tag, I used butterfly dies from Papertrey Ink and buttons.
Aren't they adorable together?  I love them.
Hope you do too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day!

Summer card camp week 1 - Bonus color combo

Here I go again! Another Baby Onesie card using one of the bonus color combo. I have used the 4th combination.

I like the 4th combination because its earthy and very Indian.

I stamped the large Mehndi Medallion from PTI using memento ink and colored using copics :) Here is a closeup so you can see the colors.

Sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Inside Out Baby stamp set. I love this onesie with this design. I want to achieve a different design on the onesie. No soft colors, no animals on it or satin ribbons. I think I have achieved it and it looks so Indian. I can easily imagine this design and colors on a traditional indian fabric. I am so happy with it and hope you like it too :)

This is my second post for today. If you want to see the first post, then click here.

Have a great week!

Beautiful Borders!

Afternoon! Its a beautiful sunny Sunday for me. Very cold start but at the moment looks just beautiful. I love winter sun. Brightens up the day but not hot. I got all my washings done and clothes are on the clothes line drying. House is all dusted, cleaned and vacuumed. Lunch is cooking. So I am all happy. You know what that means..... lol! Yes, I did craft :)
These are  two baby onesie tags.

These are made using Papertrey Ink's baby onesie die and banner dies. I recently saw a baby wearing an onesie on Pinterst which inspired me to make these tags. Here is the image of the baby from Pinterest.

I love the grey scalloped neck design and so wanted to try it on paper.

I am so in love with the Baby Onesie die. Idea bulbs light up in my head everytime I see the die lol!  You may see more onesie projects on my blog this week. Just a warning for you :)
I am entering these for Moxie Fab World Challenge- Beautiful Borders. If you like to play along the challenge, here is the link to the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by! See ya soon!
Have a wonderful weekend!

P.S. I have another post today, click here to see my second post.

New arrival card!

I have a card today, I made for our family friend who delivered a baby boy yesterday night.
Here is the card for you.

My friend came home last week with her Circut machine and I cut out a few shapes out of it. See the big onesie and little lamb, they are Circut cut. I embossed the onesie using PTI's impression plate. So cute hun!
I also love the polka dot embossing folder from Cuttle bug on the Certainly Celery cardstock.  The card came together so quickly and I am happy with it. hope my friend is too!
