I crack opened another Avery Elle Stamp Set to use on my card. This set is called Bright Days. Just like in the sketch, the sentiment is stamped horizontally but I framed it. And used neon pink arrows with pink rhinestone accent. I love the graphic take to the sketch. Hope you do too:)

Go to CAS(E) this Sketch Blog to see the rest of the gorgeous take on this sketch.
And now it is your turn:) I cannot wait to see your creations.

WCMD card

Hey everybody!

Sharing one of my cards I made for PaperCraft WCMD contest today. This one was for birthday category.

I love this card for the white polaroid frame on white base with colours from flowers, leaves and butterflies. But not very happy is the ink coverage. I had to make this card thrice to get it to this but still I can see the blotches:( But the design is my favourite.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day!

A quick post to share three card, I had submitted for PC call, Background Stamping .
These are simple graphic cards but with great impact, in my opinion atleast:)

Love the background on all the three card. They are stamps from Backgrounds By Designs #7 by AnnaBelle Stamps. The diecuts are from Cuts By design Shapes #1 also from AnnaBelle Stamps. And the sentiment is Dotted Flowers Stamp Set also from AnnaBelle Stamps. I love them. Hope you do too!

Love the green gingham with the doilies:) Such a versatile stamp set. I love the details on the doilies and the varied sizes of the doilies are well.

Ok! Hope you like both of them. I got to go now. Aditi is doing her singing practical exam for grade 4 in 30 minutes. She completed her grade 4 piano in the morning. Fingers crossed, she will do well in singing as well.

I did receive happy mail for three projects. Thank you so much PC magazine!
I love the background stamping. I am so happy with the result.

Here are the supplies and instructions on how I made it:)

Cardstock: Vintage Cream and Pure Poppy from Papertrey Ink. Stamp Set: The Sweet Life, Delightful Dahlia and News Prints Stamp Sets from Papertrey Ink. Ink: Pretty Ink Pink, Tangerine Tango, Real Red, Sand Sahara, Certainly Celery and Olive Old from Stampin’ Up! Archival Jet Black Ink. Accessories: Orange  rhinestones from Kaisercrafts, Red Bakers Twine from Twinery, Cutterbee scissors.

  1. Make card base.
  2. Trim 4 ¼’ x 5 ½’ cream cardstock panel.
  3.  Stamp second generation news print and three step stamping of the rose cluster.
  4.  Fill the gaps with leaves.
  5. Stamp the rose using the three step stamping technique on a scrap piece of cream cardstock and fussy cut it.
  6.  Stamp the leaves using the two step stamping technique and fussy cut them too.
  7.  Glue the flower and leaves as a cluster.
  8.  Stamp the sentiment on the strip of red cardstock.
  9. Adhere it to the stamped panel.
  10. Adhere a piece of red baker’s twine to the back of the rose cluster and mount it to the panel using foam squares.
  11. Accent with the rhinestones.
  12. Finally glue the panel to the card base.
