Christmas Card Set #3

Hey everybody,

Received my MFT package yesterday. New goodies always motivate me to create cards. I love the Ornament Banner Builder stamp set and coordinating die. So here is my new set of Christmas cards using this new stamp set and die.

These are non traditional Christmas cards. Love how easy it is to die cut and stamp the ornaments.
Here are the stamp sets and die I have used to make these card.

I have used Memento Luxe Inks to stamp the images. Beautiful even coverage.
I have also used brush images from Abstract Art for the background and stamped the sentiment on top of it.  I love how it looks. Just a bit of interest, right?
Here is all the cards together.

Hope you like it. I have so far made 25 Christmas cards. I have 175 more to go.

Thanks for stopping by!

A set of Christmas cards

Hello everybody,

I have restarted making Christmas cards once again. I sorted out all my Christmas related stamp sets, dies, papers and embellishments. Looking at the number of Christmas stamp sets I have? I don't think I need any more for the next 5 years. Seriously, I have about 30 Christmas stamp sets.  Shocking! Yet I find myself drooling over the newer sets being released. Well, my plan is to use every stamp set to make my cards this year. I will make a set of three cards per stamp set. Go through all of them and if needed repeat. Here is my first set of three Christmas cards

I have used Mailie's PTI Hoilday Cheer Stamp set to make my card. The die is postage stamp die from MFT and the pattern paper is from Kaisercraft's Christmas Carol. I am in love with the Memento Luxe Inks. The coverage is awesome. Take a little time to dry but what beautiful vibrant colours? Love them.
Here is all three of the cards together.

Thanks for stopping by!
See you tomorrow with another set.

CAS(E) this Sketch #50

Hello,

I am excited to share with you sketch #50 from CAS(E)  this Sketch.

This beautiful versatile sketch is by Chrissy Larson.

I have been having a bit of fun with embossing paste. Yes, I braved myself and bought it. Since my mojo was down for a while, I decided to reinstate my mojo by experimenting with something new.
But first here is my card for you.

I decided to use the black embossing paste from Wendy Venchi Studio 490 and the stencil is from The Crafter's Workshop called Echoes TCW371. It is certainly easy to use. I used my butter knife and got a little stripes on the paste as well. Love the texture and the contrast the black paste gave against the white cardstock. Here is the closeup for you.

The butterflies and the scalloped piece are stickers from Kaisercraft Elegance Collection. The Thank You die cut is from PTI.

It is so much fun to work with embossing paste. Now to explore stencils:) I have seen a lot of embossing paste used on journal art. I want to see what more can be done with embossing paste and stencil on cards:) I may start with pinning some projects from Debby Hughes and  Shari Caroll. Then brain storm:)
Edited: I have already started pinning after I wrote this post! Here is the link to my board - Embossing Paste on Cards
