This is my take on the Wrap it Up challenge!

Season'e Greetings #1

I LOVE May Arts gold metallic twine. There is a silver one too. These are perfect addition to holiday card to add a touch of gold. That is what I have done on my holiday card. I have used the new background stamp  called Lattice Grid from Simon Says Stamp Create Joy collection to white heat emboss and watercolour using Zig Clean Brush pens. I then trimmed the panel quarter inch smaller than the card front.
The second panel is made by die cutting a stitched rectangle using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles die set. I then used the  Stitched Christmas Tree die to die cut in the centre of the panel. I left the die cut inlaid in its place by adhered an adhesive sheet behind the panel. I also die cut the Christmas Tree using green glitter adhesive paper. I removed the adhesive and adhered the green glitter tree over the inlaid white tree to give added dimension. For the sentiment I stamped the sentiment from Holidays Hellos stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and adhered on the centre of the tree. Wrapped the May Arts Gold twine around the panel and made a bow. I also cut out couple of leaves from one of May Arts leaf ribbon, coloured the white leaves with Simon Says Stamp Jellybean ink pad and adhered to the centre of the bow with a big red rhinestone. Embellished with Pretty Pink Posh red metallic sequins. I layered the two panels and adhered them on to a white card base. Here is a closeup!

Runway Inspired Challenge - #94

Hello and welcome to Runway Inspired Challenge #94

What a beautiful lace outfit?  Very elegant and feminine. My inspiration for this challenge comes from the lace dress, the green indoor plant and black accents from the pot and chair. Here is my take on the challenge.

Thank you card1

To get the lace effect, I die cut The Garden die from Penny Black using Simon Says Stamp Fog cardstock. I layered and glued this die cut on white glitter paper. This I adhered to a white card base. For the focal point, I die cut Lively and Flower Frolic die also from Penny Black using green cardstock and sponged some Pine Needles distress ink to add shading to the die cuts. I layered the die cut on the card front and flush glued them. The sentiment is also from Penny Black called Stylish Gratitude. I did not add any embellishments because the glitter on the background is enough to add interest to the card. Here is a closeup of the card.

Thank you closeup

This is a no stamping card. Just using die cuts and cardstocks. Hope you like it.

Simon Says Stamp Create Joy release card #1

Good morning dear friends!

I have a new Christmas card share using new products from Simon Says Stamp Create Joy release! I am so excited with this release. So many fabulous holiday stamp set and dies release just in time to make your Holiday/Christmas cards.

CREATE-JOY-600x264-Blog-Hop

I love Soft Snowfall die the moment I saw it. I think this die is designed very cleverly. One die cuts the top and bottom separately. Then you can work with each piece separately and then combine them to make your card. Or you can use the bottom piece on its own as well. This die also make a beautiful window or frame for a shaker card. I told you, such a genius die and a must have in my opinion.

I decided work with both the top and bottom piece of the die cut. Here is my first card first for you.

A very Happy Chirstmas card

I started with running the die on white cardstock panel to die cut both the pieces. I also ran the die on a white glitter cardstock and I will be using just the bottom piece here.
I created a night sky using the top piece by sponging distress inks. I have used Mustard Seed, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Faded Jeans, Seedless Preserve and Black Soot. I sponged them back and forth to get a nice blend. Then I spattered some clean water to add some texture. When I placed this piece on a white cardstock, the white shows through the holes making it look like falling snow against the night sky. Just beautiful!
I layered and glued the white bottom piece and the white glitter bottom piece to get a bit of dimension.I adhered both the top and bottom piece of the die cut on a white card panel. Trimmed quarter of an inch on both sides because I wanted white border around the panel. I added stamped sentiment from an older and my favourite stamp set called Holiday Hello thereby highlight the Soft Snowfall die on the card. I added red and white baker's twine and Pretty Pink Posh's Clear Droplets. Here are some closeup of the card.

Beary Happy Christmas!

Hello everyone!

It has nicely warmed up here in Perth, Australia. Spring is here baby! Loving it. Gorgeous sunshine, lots of flowers bloomed everywhere, plenty of new growth in vegetation, able to get out without a jacket Yay! On the downside, the air is filled with pollen and my nose does not like it especially in the mornings. Hay fever time for me! Anyway, I have been a bit mojo less for sometime. I still craft but not with that creative juices flowing. I am keeping at it and hoping mojo returns.

I have another Christmas card sharing today using Penny Black's Christmas release stamp set called Artic Antics stamp set. Here is the finished card.

Beary christmas card1

I love bears in general but have special softie towards polar bears. I think because they are endangered at the moment with all the sea level rising. I am an animal lover especially the endangered ones. I am so thrilled that bears are hot at the moment in the stamping world. I see them everywhere. Don't you?

Here is the Artic Antics stamp set.

So adorable bear images. I love the mamma and baby bear ones a lot because they are cute together. So much you can do with these images - watercolour, copic colour, no line copic colouring, masking and stamping............. Versatile set as well.

I have watercoloured tafter I heat embossed the stamped image on watercolour paper. The medium I used is the Zig Clean Brush Pens. They are very easy to work with. One of my favourite to watercolour. I have added some gold and  silver glitter to the stars using Sakura gold and silver glitter gel pens. To bring some more of the red from the scarf, I added some red glitter paper to the bottom of the card. Used gold twine from May Arts and gold sequins to tie in all the gold elements. I also added some sequins from Classic Christmas mix from Pretty Pink Posh. Here is a closeup

Pretty Pink Posh October New Release Blog Hop!

Hello dear friends,

Welcome to Pretty Pink Posh October new release blog hop!

You should have arrived here from the talented and gorgeous Julia Altermann's blog. If not, don't worry I will provide a list of  designers participating in the blog hop towards the end of this post.

Paulina has release three set of dies, five new sequins mixes and droplets in two sizes. As always, they are all gorgeous. All are available to purchase from Pretty Pink Posh shop,

I LOVE the decorative tag die. It caught my eye the first time Paulina shared the picture with us designers. They will make beautiful accents on a card apart from using as a tag. I imagined the decorative tag in gold used on a card with floral motifs. I couldn't wait to receive the dies. The Clear Droplets are awesome. They have dimension, flat bottom so they can be easily adhered and subtle accents to any card. Love them. I have couple of cards using the Decorative Tag 1 die and the Clear droplets. Make your self a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the hop.

Card #1

Be merry card

For this card, I have used images from two stamp sets called Mondo Poinsettia and Mistletoe & Holly stamp sets from Essentials By Ellen. I stamped the mistletoe image on the card front using Soft Leaf ink by Hero Arts and coloured the inside of the leaves with beige Zig Clean Brush Pen. I then added a vellum layer. I stamped and watercolour the poinsettia and leaves, die cut them out and cluster glued them. Since the colours on the background and the focal flower cluster are soft and pastel, I wanted the decorative tag to have a bold contrast. So die cut the decorative tag using black glitter paper. I adhered them on vellum flush, then the poinsettia cluster using foam adhesive to give dimension. The sentiment is from Hero Arts stamp set called Family and Friends Christmas. I LOVE the contrast the black tag against the pastel colours on the card. The addition of clear droplets look like dew drops on the card. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Clear droplets are a must have embellishment in my opinion.

Be Merry Flat

Card #2

In this card, I have used the decorative tag in gold.

Merry Christmas card

On this card, I have used the images from the same stamp sets as the previous card except that I used bright and pretty colours combination of pink and green. Since the colours were bright, I decided to diecut the decorative tag in gold. Here is raised the outer decortive tag using foam adhesives and the inner piece is glued flush. You can see the gold on the decorative tag better in the photo below.

Merry Christmas card 1

I also layered the poinsettias before adding leaves. The poinsettias and leaves are watercoloured using Zig Clean Brush pens. The golden decorative tag makes gives a rich feel to the card. And the clear droplets are my dew drops on the card bringing all the elements on the card together.

Christmas card flat

I always get carried away when I start to create with new goodies. So lucky you I have one more card share. This one is using the Mini Tag Dies.

Dashing through the No!

I love the look of the curved mini tag die in the set. So I simply die cut a few of them using watercolour paper. I love the texture of the watercolour paper. On of the tags, I stamped and  watercoloured the grumpy snowman from Holiday Grumplings stamp set from Taylored Expressions. On another tag, I stamped the sentiment. I then randomly arranged the tags on a white panel and adhered a few flush on the panel and the rest using foam adhesives for dimension.

Dashing through the no flat 1

I trimmed the panel  and adhered on red card base leaving a little border of red on top and bottom. To bring in the colours together, I have added metallic sequins from Classic Christmas mix and Clear Droplets. I also added gold twine with a bow on the spine of the card base. I love the stitched detail on the mini tags. These are so cute and can be used as banners as well on a card.

Hope you like all my cards. You next stop is to the talented Nicole Picadura's blog.

Here is the list of all the designers participating in the blog hop.
