Hey everyone,
Glad to be back blogging after couple of days. I have been crafting but cannot yet share the cards I have made. But surely tomorrow. I always get a bit distracted while making DT projects and end up with a non DT project. And today's card share is one of them. I was going through pattern papers to use on one of my DT project when I came across this gorgeous bokeh lime lemony pattern paper. I think this came with Simon Says Stamp kit recently. I then remembered, Altenew's new monthly challenge. I played along :)
This is Altenew's new monthly challenge inspirational picture.
I am inspired by the Lime Lemonade colours of the ribbon and the simple b/w stamped and diecut flowers and leaves. So here is my card for the challenge.
I have used the beautiful yellow and green bokeh pattern paper on the background. Then stamped the Magnolia from Magnolia for Her stamp set on some scrap white cardstock, cut them out and clustered them together. I bunched up some thread before adhered the cluster of Magnolia on the pattern paper. I then used the sparkly gold enamel dot to embellish.
For the sentiment I have used Tsukineko Kaleidacolor Melon Melody dye ink to ink the sentiment also from Magnolia for Her stamp set and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. How gorgeous is that sentiment? I love the glossy effect from heat embossing. Here are some closeup!
Thanks for stopping by!
