Taylored Expression Sneak Peek #3

Hello and welcome back once again. This is my third post for the day. Here are my 1st and 2nd post.

Today is day #3 of Taylored Expressions December release sneak peek. I hope you have enjoying day #1 and #2 sneak peeks of the new goodies. Is there a shopping list by now? Lol!

Today I am showcasing two new products. One is a background stamp called Musical Background and second product is a die called Little Bits Record.
First up I have couple of cards using the Musical background stamp set. On the first card I have used Musical Background stamp as well as You Amaze Me stamp set.

I did emboss resist technique on this card. I white heat embossed the Musical background stamp on Sugar Cube cardstock. Then I sponged Pink Champagne TE dye ink on the centre and Earl Grey TE dye ink on the edges. I die cut the centre of the panel using one of the Stitched Heart die from Stitched Hearts Stacklet. Then trimmed the edges to add a thin strip of red glitter cardstock before adhering to the card front using foam adhesive.

For the focal point, I gold heat embossed the maze heart from You Amaze Me stamp set and sponged Cherry Pop dye ink. I also brushed with Wink of Stella. I adhered this heart inside the negative of the heart die cut on the emboss resist panel. Sentiment is also from You Amaze Me stamp set which is white heat embossed on Oreo cardstock. Finally embellished with sequins and Nuvo Carnation Pink Crystal drops.

For the second card, I did tone on tone technique using the Musical Background stamp.

I stamped the musical background stamp on Watermelon cardstock and sparkly clear embossed to get tone on tone background. I then sponged Cherry Pop TE dye ink on the edges to accentuate the embossed background a bit. For the focal point, I die cut a stitched rectangle die using TE vellum cardstock. The sentiment is from the new Love Script die and How Sweet It Is stamp set.  On the Love Script sentiment die cut I added Nuvo Pink Mousse to add the shimmer. I also accentuated the sentiment the musical background with Little Bits Love Notes dies die cut using red glitter cardstock.

The second product I am showcasing is the Little Bits Record die. This record die is so cute.

Absolutely adorable with it score circle lines. I decided to highlight the black vinyl record with some colour on the background like a colour block.

I started with a 4" x 5.25" Sugar Cube cardstock panel. Then I measured and drew pencil lines to create six squares. I masked around each squares and sponged TE dye inks - Candy Corn, Cookie Monster, Granny Smith, Lemon Meringue, Plum Punch and Lollipop. Then I removed the masks and erased the pencil lines to reveal the colour blocks. I then die cut six records out of the die and six inner circles as well. I sponged the inner circles with the same inks and adhered to the centre of the records. I randomly adhered the records at the centre of each block using foam adhesives making sure the colours on the record and background do not match. I adhered this panel on the Sugar Cube card base. Then the sentiment from All You Need Is Love stamp set is stamped using Oreo hybrid ink on to a strip of Sugar Cube cardstock and adhered on the card front as shown.
