This week at CAS-ual Friday blog challenge #30 is Tic Tac Toe.

 I picked the middle column- Polka dots, Kraft and Orange. Love all the three. So you can imagine what a big smile I had when I saw them all together. This is my take on the challenge :)

Embellish Challenge

I wanted to make a card for a friend who got his promotion recently. The colors and banners from the Embellish challenge is perfect for a masculine congratulation card.

And this is my card.

I like the solid masculine colour banners and how they draw the focus to the sentiment. I am glad with how the card turned out and will be happy to give it to him tomorrow :)

Only one and half weeks more of school and then one and half month of holidays. Kids are looking forward to school holidays. Although I prefer no early wake ups or school runs during school holidays but also like the peace and quiet time to myself during school term. I cannot have the cake and eat it too, can I? lol!

Fresh Flowers

Hi everybody, How is weekend treating you? We had a very busy Saturday and same with Sunday too. The town had Christmas Parade yesterday and my DD was in the parade and this morning, she is singing in the choir. Nice and festive in the town. But I have a card share for you I made for Freshly Made sketch #13. Here is the sketch for you

Now, what I did with the sketch was to turn it 180 degree and here is what it looks like

Sorry about the upside down words on the sketch. Here is how I interpreted the upside down sketch.

I used the two Wisteria flower and the bud stamp as the three shapes and added a embellished border and ribbon on the top.  I love the purple and kraft combination. The sentiment is lovely too. The stamp set is from Craft Meows called Celebrate You.

ColourQ #113

It is hot, humid and I am very sleepy. It is hard for me to write up anything interesting in the state I am in. But I want to share my card I mde for ColourQ #113 challenge. Here are the colors...

Here is my card. I made it yesterday and had the time to take photo only today.

I made the wreath using MFT snowflake dies and Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Night of Navy and White glittery paper. The pattern paper is an old SU Christmas paper. The sentiment and white cardstock is from Papertrey Ink. The Sand Sahara cardstock is from SU.Rhinestones from Kaisercraft. Don't know why the pattern paper looks greenish a bit!! The color balance is a bit off I think!

Get Inspired - In the Kitchen Challenge

This is the next challenge in the Get Inspired series at Moxie Fab World Blog.
It is a Kitchen challenge. Here is the inspirational photo.

Although I like the pattern on the plate, I love the pattern on the glass! So I went for that pattern for inspiration and here is my card.

The flower stamp set is from Waltzingmouse, cardstocks from Gina K and Bazzil, sentiment stamp from papertrey Ink and rhinestones from Kaisercraft.
