WCMD Challenge #3: India

Hi Everybody,

I was hopping blogs today and came upon Nichole Heady's blog. She has 4 challenges marking the World Card Day. I thought I will give them a go. Since my origins are from India, I thought I will give India a go first. If you want to participate click here.

Here is my take on Challenge #3: India

In India, we wear bright, vibrant colors, layers of clothes, with lots of bling and gold thread work. Paisley is very common in our clothes. So keeping that in mind, I have used a combination of bright blue, purple, green and orange on my card. I dry embossed paisley design using cuttlebug embossing folder. decorated the embossed cardstock with brads, rhinestones and gold gel pen.The ribbons are layered and adhered using rhinestone brad.Stamp is from Dreams de jour stamp set from Stampin' Up!
I like the outcome. Hope you like it too.
The other countries are Australia, Japan and Mexico. I have done Japan. Will load it soon.
Can't wait to make Australia. Thanks for the awesome challenges, Nicole

Hugs
