Tears of Joy!

Morning everybody,

Thanks so much for all your wellwishes on my previous post. Seriously I had tears of joy reading all your wishes. My hubby was puzzled when he saw the tears and asked me what happened? I showed him all the comments and he said wow! And gave me a hugs :)

So all excited, I made a card yesterday. There is a bit of a story to tell before I share the card. I am on a holiday. We drove down on Thursday to Rockingham, a town near Perth. Hubby is working while we stroll around the beach and mall. Since we drove, I bought along some cardstocks, stamps, inks, adhesives, all my dies and even scissors. We were half way through the drive, I realised I forgot my cuttlebug :(  Cheez! I never realised how much I am dependent on my cuttlebug and dies? But I was determined to make a card using just inks and stamps. Was a challenge but I did it.
 Here is the card.

Congratulations card

Supplies:
Cardstocks: Gina K Luxury white cardstock
Stamp sets: Congrats and Inside Out Baby from PTI
Inks: Stone Wash and Butter Cup from Hero Arts Mid Tone Shadow Inks

This card is made using CAS-ual Friday Challenge # 48 -  Opposites Attract.

My DT starts in May but I love this challenge theme. So I decided to make a card.
If you like to participate in the challenge then here is the link to the blog.

Beautiful card! That sure is a challenge not to use your Cuttlebug. Wow, but you nailed it!

Great card. I know what you mean about the Cuttlebug. We will be gone for two months and it, along with lots of other stamping things, will be traveling with us. (We're driving, too.)

I love, love, love this card. The text in yellow and the blue/purple congrats is perfect! I'm always interested in cards without flowers.

Fantastic! Love the graphic feel and yellow on white. For my last two holidays, I packed my Cuttlebug (first thing!) and dies too ;) My husband couldn't believe it, hehehe. Crazy, crazy crafters!

First of all, you are MY kinda girl - taking crafting products with you on vacation is absolutely brilliant and HARD CORE all at the same time! LOL But you've inspired me . . . I'm taking my stamping crap with me the next time we go on vacation. My husband brings his golf clubs - why can't I bring my stamps, right?! LOL Second of all, this project is so fun and clever!! You totally made the best with what you had on hand. Brilliant! Lastly, I am beyond thrilled that you'll be joining the CAS-ual Fridays team. When I discovered your blog recently, your work took my breath away. Your style is phenomenal, and so incredibly inspiring. I can't wait to be able to officially call you my teammate, and I truly look forward to the next six months! Is it May yet?! LOL
