The Craft's Meow Day #2 Preview of the May Release.

Hey everybody,

Welcome to day #2 preview of The Craft's Meow May New Releases.

the craft's meow.

Today we are previewing a new stamp set called Wildflowers

This set is also designed by Nina. B Designs. The set is 4 x 6 in size. This set has gorgeous flower cluster images. Here are two cards I made using this stamp set.

I heat embossed the outline flowers on white background and pencil coloured the flowers and leaves. The photo does not do justice. Looks much better in real.The sentiment on this card is not for this stamp set.

Here is my second card.

I heat embossed both the flowers and sentiment using cream embossing powder on a burgundy cardstock to give a nice contrast. I then used a dark red copic sketch marker to add shading. Then accented with pearls. A high contrast CAS card. I love how this card turned out.

Check out The Craft's Meow Blog for more DT inspirations based on this set.

OMG...your cards took my breath away today! The first one just is amazing so if it looks better in real life that is mind boggling! Your second actually made me think of China and indian sari's with the rich reds and gold accents. Beautiful cards Gayatri!

BTW if you ever decide to do a video could you show us how you do this stroke colouring on the first card?

Both cards are so beautiful. The first card is my favorite and I realize it was hard to capture the heat embossing effect, but I looked very closely and saw that it is prettier than the picture. So don't worry, please. The second card is very cool too. It's bold and I think very sophisticated and elegant.

@Mary-Anne V

Thanks Mary Anne for your lovely comment. I am so afraid of doing video tutorials but I will certainly give it a try:)
