CAS(E) this Sketch #40

Hello and welcome to CAS(E) this sketch #40
This awesome sketch is by Karolyn Loncon!

Here is my take on the sketch.

I love this gorgeous Leaf Column background and outline dies from Simon Say Stamp. Simple and pretty. I wanted to colour the insides. So I picked a darker brown colour card base which I embossed with wood grain impression. I then chose a slightly lighter brown for the panel which I die cut using the Leaf Column background die. I also die cut the Leaf Column outline die from the same lighter brown scrap cardstock and lined it inside the diecut of the panel. I have coloured the insides of the leaves using copics. Love how the colour stands out against the dark brown panel and card base. The sentiment is from STAMPember On the Edge exclusive from Simon Says Stamps.

Here is the close up of the card.

@Tyra Babington

Tyra, I have no idea! It came along with the template from blogger. I have not received much feedback from it either. Don't think people notice but I think they are cute and easy to tick off if one is in a hurry and unable to comment, right?
