CAS(E) this sketch Challenge #56

I am still making Christmas cards. I know by now I should have finished and sent out all of them but I am lagging behind. Anyway, I have this 6 x 6 paper pad called Christmas Carols by Kaisercraft. It has one beautiful pattern paper full of poinsettia, berries and leaves in glossy finish. I love that paper. The patterns are bold and big. I was struggling to use it on my card. Today it just came together to use that pattern paper with Poinsettia stamp from Uniko Studio. And I loved the card when I completed making it. Here it is for you.

Merry Christmas

Love that the pattern paper does not take over the card yet provides the Christmassy background. I have used Pure Florals: Poinsettia stamp set from Uniko Studio. I have heat embossed the poinsettia flower in red and green on vellum. Cut them out and layered them. Added a strip of glitter paper and stamped the sentiment. Finish off with enamel dots. Here is the close up.

Merry Christmas close up!

For this card i have used the new sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog. This is the new sketch by Chrissy Larson.

I have turned the sketch to landscape orientation for my card. Hope you like it. This sketch challenge runs for two weeks. Come and play along.

Thanks for stopping by!
