Mojo Monday #214

I have been saving up Mojo Monday sketches and never got play though! But this sketch, I just wanted to give it a go. Here is the sketch for you and a click on the sketch will take you to the challenge as well.

Beautiful sketch and Love the layers. Since I decided recently that my style is CAS, I wondered how I am going to do that? It was a challenge as I wanted to add more and more layers. I did add layers but when completed I still felt like it looked CAS. Right?

Cardstocks from SU, Pattern paper from Pink Paislee, Ribbon also from SU, dies from Papertey Ink and so are the sentiments. The glitter brad is from SU. I love this sentiment as I too just love my grandma. Although, they both are not alive, I still have sweet memories of them :)

I loved this color combination and how my card turned out to be. Hope you do too.I am also entering this card for the Moxie Fab World's Celebrating Relationships Challenge. Here is the link to the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Pretty in Pink!

Yay! I woke up this morning to find blogger fixed and running. It was frustrating having no access to blogger  except to read only mode. There are a few comments missing on my posts. Hopefully that will be fixed too.

Any way, I have a card I made for couple of challenges. I have used Mojo Monday sketch #190 and  CR84FN27 color challenge. Here is the sketch and the colors of the challenges:)

Here is what I came up with

A feminine pretty in pink card. The glittery dress is a die cut using Taylored Expression apron die on PTI's dressform diecut.. The bow is also made using a die from Taylored Expression. Papers are from Prima Marketing and Crate Paper. The stickers are from Echo Park Be Mine collection., Lace from an Esty shop, orses from Prima Markerting and stamps from Papertrey Ink.
Some closeups

I am not a huge fan of Pink color but I like this card.  I am also excited about using the apron die for a dress with a big bow. My mojo has come back. Thanks to both the challenges. Maybe pink will become one of my fav color after all :)

Thanks for stopping by! I have a busy day ahead today. Have a great weekend!

Luv!

Mojo Monday #119

Morning everybody,

I am sad. Why? My postman did not bring any parcel yesterday. Infact the only post he left was not mine either. It was for another person in another address! I am hoping he gets my parcels today atleast.

OK,my post today is to show you my take on Mojo Monday sketch #119.
This is the sketch.

And here is my take on the sketch:

I always wanted to combine with Eggplant and Kiwi Kiss colors. I added Whisper White to it and made a card with just cardstocks. No DSP used here. I love this color combo. I also like Kiwi Kiss and  Pacific Point together along with white. Will try the next sketch with this color combination.
Thanks for an awesome sketch.
Have a nice day

Mojo Monday #118

Hi everybody,

I hope all of you are excited making last minute shopping and getting prepared for Christmas.
I will do a quick post today.

Today, I am blogging my take on Mojo Monday #118 sketch. You can find the sketch here.
Nice beautiful straightforward sketch, I think!
Here is my take.

A valentine's card with no setiments yet. I haven't decided on whether to do sentiments on the outside or inside. I like the card the way it is now.I will stamp the sentiment depending on to whom the card is going to be given to!
Thanks again for an awesome sketch.
Happy Christmas

Mojo Monday #105

Hello everybody,

I have been looking forward to the new mojo monday sketch  and here it is.
Its an interesting sketch. The DT cards gave me some courage to do the sketch.

I liked the layered large scalloped circles. Very pretty. But that was tricky bit for me.
Initially, I stamped Circle Circus and punched out circles and made a card.
Here is my first attempt.

CS: Baja Breeze
DSP: Sweet Slumber Speciality paper
Stamp Sets: Circle Circus and Game cards
Accessories: Pacific point ribbon
Ink pads: Riding hood red and Basic Black

But I was not very happy with it.
My latest parcel from Stampin' Up! arrived yesterday.
I wanted to break open and use my new stuff.
And christmas cards are in need in the near future.
So I made a christmas card.
This time I punched out circles out of CS and DSP. Nothing fancy and it works
Here it is and I like this one

CS: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Read Red and Kiwi Kiss
DSP: Bella Rose
Stamp Set: Occassional Greetings
Ink pads: Riding Hood Red

Accessories: Circle punch, Clear embossing powder, heat gun, versamark Satin ribbon, 5/8' grosgrain red ribbon

Thanks for an awesome sketch.
Great to participate in a lovely sketch challenge.
I love sketches. lol!!!
Now I have a long wait until Monday for a brand new sketch.

Thanks for stopping by

Hugs

Mojo Monday Sketch #104

Hey everybody,

I love Mojo Monday sketches. So whenever time permits, I make cards using the sketches from Mojo Monday blog. This week's sketch has circles. I love circles, so I gave it a go.
Here is the sketch for you

And here is my take on the sketch.

I have used Very Vanilla card stock as the base. Kiwi Kiss to mat the Sweet Slumber speciality paper. I have used Kiwi Kiss, Real Red and Very Vanilla cardstock
to punch out the scalloped circles and circles and layered them.
The ribbon is Very Vanilla 5/8' grosgrain ribbon which is in this month's free bundle
when you order for 100$ or host sales of 600$ from Stampin' Up!.
Isn't it cool? Love ribbons.
The stampset I have used here is Tree Trimmings from the Spring Mini catalogue
available until november 09. I have stamped using Riding hood red inkpad,
cut out the ornaments and mounted them using dimensionals.
The sentiment is from Best Yet hostess level 1 stamp set
which you get if you order for 300$ or more from Stampin' Up!.
So saffron brads perfectly match the rest of the card.
All products are from Stampin' Up!

Thanks for the gorgeous sketch. Looking forward to the next week's sketch.

Mojo Monday #99

Hey everybody,

I am exhausted. Packing is tiring. The dust Kalgoorlie generates is enormous.
My nose is ticklish and I am sneezy all the time.I want to get over with it soon.
Taking a break from packing.I managed to do a card for Mojo Monday sketch #99.
Here is the Sketch for you.
This is my take on the challenge.
I have been looking at the sketches and wanting to do them for a long time.
But today I got a chance to do it.

I have used White cardstock as the base of the card.
Pattern paper is from Basic Gray Ambrosia range.
Ribbon, scalloped punch, circle punch and Best yet stamp set are from Stampin' Up!.
Butterfly grungeboard from Tim Holtz inked with pink, orange and black Versa color ink.

I enjoyed making this card.
Thanks for the opportunity. Great sketch.

See you back soon
