Happy Anniversary!

It is me once again. Third post for today. Here are my first and second posts.

I have an anniversary card to share today. I did some faux watercolouring. I learnt it at the Online Card Class - Watercolouring for cardmakers. Here is my card.

happy anniversary

I have used the gorgeous flowers from Petals and Stems stamp set from Avery Elle. I stamped second generation using distress inks and then coloured using watercolour brush. I also add some highlights using different shades of pinks and greens. The sentiment is from The Big, the Bold and Happy stamp set from Winnie & Walter. Finally I have embellished using the gorgeous sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Guess what? The inspiration for the layout of my card came from the new CAS(E) this Sketch by Chrissy Larson.

I was a bit stumped with the graphic sketch. So I decided to take a soft floral take on those graphic elements. Worked out good. Happy :)

Check out CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog to how the rest of the design team and our guest designer interpreted this sketch.

Come and play along. And make sure you like us our CTS Facebook as well.

Very beautiful. I love the colors and the blue color wash around the flowers just makes the card. I am still loving the Winnie and Walter stamp set. I use it so, so much.

Hi Ann, Thanks for your lovely comment. I use glossy accent to glue my sequins. Mono Multi glue from Tombow is also good to use.
