I have Christmas card here today inspired by Debby Hughes card at Online Card Class - Holiday Card Workshop.
Day #1 class is all about mass producing cards.
Day #1 class is all about mass producing cards.
Debby card is soft and elegant. But my version is bright, glittery and metallic. I went for traditional christmas colours of green and red with gold. I started with spattering some green Heidi Swapp green colour shine. Then I diecut a tag using watercolour paper and colour washed with Festive Berries and Ripe Persimmon distress inks. While they both are drying, I die cut the Laurel Wreath from Essentials by Ellen from green glitter paper by American Craft. Also die cut the sentiment also from Essentials By Ellen.
I adhered the wreath using foam on the tag, the senitment glued on top of the wreath. I used green baker's twine to tie the tag. I mounted the tag using foam adhesives on the panel. Then panel is again mounted on the card front using foam adhesives. LOVE the bright colours of red and green with gold. Here is a closeup of the card.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
