A quick post today sharing a card I made for my hubby's best friend's father who turned 80. He is like a father to my hubby and I have known him since my marriage. A very lively man with a great sense of humour and very affectionate. He lights up the room the moment he walks in. Cannot believe he is 80!. In India turning 80 is special and is celebrated in a grand way. We are unable to attend the celebrations, instead sending him a card and a gift card. This is the card I made.
I have used Simon Says Stamp Congratulations stamp set and die to make my card. I chose gold and silver with white for a classy look to the card. The gold foil pattern paper is from Simon Says Stamp older kit. The smaller sentiment came from Clearly Besotted Eastern Delights stamp set (retired) stamped in gold Delicata ink. The card is embellished with Sparkly Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Here is a closeup.
I did the insides too but forgot to take photos of it before I posted the card. :( Anyway, I hope he likes the card because it will be a surprise for him.
I have listed all the products I have used to make this card below.
