While I am still editing my photos of my projects for school fete, I decided to get light tent after Joy inspired me with her video. So I am going to wait for the tent to arrive and take another set of photos of the projects to see the difference. In the meantime, I made coupe of more Christmas cards which will also be available for sale at the school fete. Here is first one.
I wanted a green doily die and I did not have any green scrap cardstock. I had to cut into a new green cardstock. I decided to cut the cardstock into two as card bases. The cut the doilie die right in the middle of the card front. So I have the doilie die I wanted and I can still use te card base. Thats how this card above was created. I used a red doilie die with tiny treat image inside the card. Stamped the card front with the same image from tiny treat.
Next one below I love it. The circle embossing folder is sent to me by the gorgeous Cara from Canada.
Love the texture from the embossing folder and from the contrasting non punched doilie as well.
I enjoy die cutting the card front and layering it inside using the same jazzed up diecut . Looks beautiful in real. All products are from Papertrey Ink except the ribbon and copics.
Hope you like it too. Maybe I will enter it into Moxie fab challenge Adding Texture.
Thanks for stopping by. I will share more tomorrow :)
See ya soon.

So pretty! Love the brightness of them especially.
Great cards, Gayatri! I love how you made the window on the first one with the Doily Details die!
Simply beautiful. Looking forward to your post of crafting items for the school fete.
Two great cards. I love how you cut right into the front of the card. What a great idea for getting a die cut and not 'wasting' the paper you cut from.
Both gorgeous! I especially love the apertures in both. How'd you get the second doily to retain all the little cutouts? Surely you didn't push them back in. Heehee. I'm fascinated. Such lovely work Gayatri, as always. I'm dying to know where one can get a good light tent in Oz. Do tell. ;-)
What gorgeous cards! I am so glad you like the embossing folder ... can't wait for your next package to arrive! :)
Hey Gayatri! Thanks for linking this up to the Textured to Perfection challenge in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)
