Winnie & Walter Share the Love Week - Resist technique using Distress Inks.

Welcome to Winnie & Walter's Share the Love featuring Distress Inks day #3

Today I am showcasing resist technique using distress inks.
Here is my card first.



For this card I have white heat embossed "Hello" stamp from The Big, the Bold and Happy stamp set at an angle. I then sponged distress inks, Peacock Feathers and Squeezed Lemon. Wiped with a damp cloth to remove distress inks on the embossed sentiment. I stamped the smaller sentiments using black ink. Trimmed the panel and glued to the card front to which I had added black glitter tape. I then die cut a tag using Wplus9 tag set, stamped the rest of the sentiment from The Big, the Bold and You stamp set, added a bow with sequins at the centre. This tag is foam mounted on the card front. Simple layout but the resist technique with the colours from distress inks makes an impact.
