G'morning! It is Monday! 

After a very hot day and night, today seems worse. It is muggy and is threatening to rain. Hope it does and cools down!  Anyway, I am playing along Jay Gee's Nook Challenge #24

I choose the ombre colours of the curtains as my inspiration for my card.

Here is my take on the challenge.

I have sponged different colour blue and green inks to get the ombre effect and stamped the image in black. Love how the image stands out. I have added black rhinestone to the center of the flower for added interest.

Cardstock: Stampers Select White and Harvest Gold from Papertrey Ink

Stamp set: Distresse Brick from Prima Marketing, Background Builder Lattice and Fotiments from Uniko Studio

Inks: Memento Black Ink, Butterup, Wet Cement from Hero Arts, Aqua Mist from Papertrey Ink

Accessories: Rhinestones from Kaisercraft and Copic Sketch pens

I have tried to use various elements from the collage. The brick wall, the colours, the lattice.... into my card. I love collage photos. Great inspirations. This one is awesome. Thanks for the challenge.

Jay Gee's Nook has a new challenge on its blog - Challenge #18

Love the collage of pictures but the one that stood out for me is the center picture -the plate setting. 

Wow! the green chevron with the aqua side plate on the beautifully shaped plate. 

So inspired by it, I made my card.

Supplies: 

Cardstock: Stampers Select White, Fine Linen and Hawaiian Shores from PTI

Stamp Sets: Daily Designs and sentiment from PTI, Geo Graphic from Paper Smooches

Inks: Garden Green from SU, Archival Jet Black ink

Accessories: Spellbinders label #4 die, circle punch, rhinestones from Kaisercraft and Bookprint impression plate from PTI

To make my card, I used the latest sketch from Retro Sketches - Sketch #6 .

I flipped the sketch vertically and used the traditional card base instead of a square card base. Love this sketch. So versatile.
