Tip for the day

Wondering what to do with scrap papers? Well you could...

1. Make lovely cards from the usual size ones to tiny ones. Make a tiny one with a "I love you" message and pop it into your DH or DS/D's pocket.They get a little surprise at work or school.

2. Use punches and punch out little goodies and organize them into the ziplocs. You have ready made embellishments to use on your layouts.

3. Make tags out of the scrap heavy paper and make them up. Why not send tags to your friends once a while with a little quotes?

4. Cut out little flowers and hearts and other shapes of the scrap paper and use them on the layouts.

Best part is all these can be done while watching TV.

Christmas is on its way....................

And we all have to give Christmas cards to friends and family. So I have started making Christmas cards. I love making cards because I can use all scraps and make them. They are simple ones and my kids are helping me out ( sometimes..... not!!!!!!!) in making them. I made about 11 cards yesterday.Do not ask me why that odd number... I do not know!!. Anyway, here they are for you to see............. I have to make some hundreds of them. Not exactly the same but slightly different ones. I thought I should at least start making them now.

I also made a layout yesterday for Scrapncraft with T's challenge on www.debscreations.com.au The challenge says "use scrap paper, patch work on the layout, chipboard altered to suit the LO and finally use glitter". I started out on this challenge immediately but Skye came out with similar layout. Her layout is fantastic. Loved the color combo and the little birdie. So I altered mine using brights and a little bit different. I had a ball doing this one. Machine stitching, making my own tiny jewelery and a sticker dress I had for a very long time. I chose to add items I love in the layout. Of course, family (kids and hubby), then butterfly ( I used the ones I made), flowers, shoes (which woman dos not like shoes), clothes, scrap booking, food(lol!!) and jewelery. Oh it is one just a few things I love and I have a very long list.....lol!!!!

Here is a sketch and my take on the sketch

To bring my mojo back I decided to do a sketch. There is already a design and I just have to interpret it. TBSS (tearbears.com.au) has weekly sketch challenge and Kath's sketches are super. So here is her sketch

I love circles and any sketch with circles I go for it. Here is my interpretation of the sketch and also some close ups as well. Enjoy!!!

Lost my Mojo??????????????

OMG!!!!! OMG!!!!!! I have lost my mojo. I am stuck and I do not know what to do or where to start. 3 days away and this is what happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh, I should have taken a layout to scrap.I tried doing a monochromatic layout when I came back but did not turnout well.

Best news is I have received half of my supplies.I went through all of them and hopefully that will help me restart.................
I tried making a negative space layout for the Debs creations challenge. Mmmmm!!!!!!!!! that feeling that it is not up to it. Anyway I will load it here.
