A productive afternoon....

Today is such a fantastic day for me! I had the entire afternoon to craft. I seriously made use of it. I made some 3 sets of Christmas and holiday tags, a few DT projects and a thank you card. Well, I cannot share the tags and DT projects yet. So that leaves me with the Thank you card to share.

I love the idea of plethora coffee mugs as background. I saw it on Nicole Heady's blog and also on Moxie Fab World Alert. So here is my version of it. The coffee stamps are from Stampin' Up! I think its retired! I love the sentiment image a lot. There is one more senitment in the set which is cool. So I kept the set.
Among the Moxie fab Alert, there is Moroccon Tea Glass candles which is so beautiful. Love the bright colors and the golden flourish design. If you want some inspiration, check out Moxie Fab World blog.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend :)

Moxie Chic...

Second post today! I had some time today to make a few projects. One of them is this card I made for Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger Challenge. Here is the inspirational photo.

So chic and look at the hip? Wow! Love that jacket. But I will sure not fit into it lol! Look at the sleeves? I love to have the ruffles on my jacket sleeves.Hope that kind of sleeves some into fashion.
Anyway, what inspired me apart from the colors are the ruffles and that pink satin ribbon.
Here is my take on the photo.

Can you see the embossed music background on the black cardstock? I somehow associate music with chic. I don't know why? Cannot figure out why!!! The pink satin ribbon on the curved hips.

Anyway, I have tried ruffles on my card by layering border punched red cardstock.  Senitment is from PTI Signature Greetings. A very girly card. Not my style but love how the card has turned out. My daughter will sure love it. She love bold girly things. Thanks for making me think outside the box with your inspirational photos on Tuesday Target, Cath! I had fun making this card :)

Look what I made!

Wrinkled ribbons!!! I have been drooling at them for a while especially on Sarah Martina's and Melissa Phillip's blog. Finally I got to making my own wrinkled ribbons.I am so thrilled :)

These are all dyed using SU reinkers. Such gorgeous colors and the wrinkle and there is sheen to the ribbon which the camera has not picked up. I am going to try more colors tonight! So happy with myself today! lol!
Thanks for sharing my joy today :)

What a nice surprise?

I generally wake up a bit early than my kids and sit with a cup of aromatic coffee and check emails and forums and this blog of mine. This morning, I noticed that the number of visitors to my blog had increased suddenly! Wow! The total number of visitors is more than 20, 000. It brought a smile on my face and a little curiosity....
After checking the stats, I found the traffic was to one particular post called "A set". Off I went to check at the Moxie Fab World blog because I made the set for uesday Trigger Fall Festival and I found out that my project (below) made it to Tuesday Trigger Target
Gosh! what a nice surprise? I am so happy. It just brightened my day!
I get to wear this badge

Thanks so much, Cath! You made my day :)

Today I teach craft at school. And I am teaching to make a CD calendar. I have cut 8 sets and prepared my box for the class. I also had my Waltzing Mouse stamps delivered today. Gorgeous stamp sets. I wanted to play with them immediately. So I used one of WMS to make the calendar fronts. Here is a picture of the calendar fronts I made.

Don't they look elegant? I love the WMS's nesties compatible stamps. Also the PTI Calendar set is gorgeous and versatile. They go so well together. The girls are in for lots of stamping in the class. So I made the calendar fronts for them. Hope they enjoy the class today. I also will have couple of teachers joining in too :)
