ColourQ #147

Evening Everybody!

I have a card today for ColourQ Challenge #147.
Here are the colours for you

The first thing that came to my mind see the picture on the panel isFish More stamp set from Wplus9. I had bought them but hadn't inked them. So this challenge was perfect to crack open the Fish More stamp set from Wplus9.

Here is my card inspired by the picture of the rug? or tea towel? from the colour panel.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Not quite Navy, Kiwi Kiss cardstock from SU. White cardstock from Wplus9
Stamp sets: Fish More from Wplus9
Inks: Pacific Blue, Regal Rose, Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze from SU and Archival Jet Black ink

What a great masculine card! Love the stamp set. Although our family is a vegetarian family, all our friends eat meat and fish. I can give this card to my friend whose father is retiring in a few months and he love fishing:)
Hope you like the card too. Thanks so much for stopping by!

See you soon!

More baby cards

Hi everybody,

Sharing baby cards today for Runaway Inspired Baby Shower Challenge

Sarah and Cristina recently welcomed their beautiful bundle of joy this month. And Runaway Inspired Baby Shower Challenge blog is having the most fashionable baby shower for Sarah and Cristina.

Here is my card for Sarah and her beautiful baby girl Evelyn

And here is my card for Cristina's adorable baby boy

Here are both the cards together.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Wplus9 white cardstock and Petal Pizzaz from SU
Pattern Paper: Echo Park Dot and Strips Pattern Paper pad
Stamp Set: Onesie Twosie from Wplus9
Accessories: Copic blue and pink markers.

I love hearing about babies being born. Whether it is from family or friends, new born babies news always makes me happy. I get jealous when my hubby comes home from the hospital and says, there is a cute baby born today and that he got to carry the baby Or says that he got to carry a baby to calm her as she was crying a lot and wanted to give the mother a break. I love babies.

A big congrats to both Sarah and Cristina. Enjoy your break and time with your new babies:)

Thanks for stopping by!

See you soon.

Baby cards and coordinating tags.

Gallery Idol 2012 girls have joined together for an awesome blog hop. It is called Shaping Up Blog Hop. I decided to play it along as well.

I decided to go for baby cards. Reason being I have the big onesie die from Papertrey Ink and recently added a smaller onesie die from Taylored Expressions to my collection. I thought to make onesie card and a coordinating tag for baby boy and girl.
Edited: Wondering why I chose baby cards for summer shaping up card challenge? Apparently more babies are born in Summer than Winter!

Here is the baby boy card and tag.

I chose to go for a clean and simple design. I have used the Fly Away dies from Papertrey Ink and  Bundle Of Love stamp set for my card and tag.

Here is the baby girl card and tag.

For the girl's card and tag, I used butterfly dies from Papertrey Ink and buttons.
Aren't they adorable together?  I love them.
Hope you do too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day!

Ribbon Technique Challenge

Third post for today! First time I have post three in a day! Must say I had fun crafting all afternoon.
I have a card for Papertrey Ink's Stamp a Faire Ribbon Technique Challenge.
I really liked Erin's technique and I have used Swiss Dot Ribbon on my card below

Supplies:
Cardstock: Stampers Select White from Papertrey Ink
Stamp Set: Beautiful Butterflies from Papertrey Ink
Inks: Archival Jet Black Ink
Accessories: Beautiful Butterflies dies, Swiss Dot Riibbons in Hawaiian Shoes, Sweet Blush, Hibiscus Burst and Spring Moss. Raspberry Fizz button and Lime Green Baker Twine

Love the layers of ribbon behind negative of the diecut, which not only adds colour, also texture and pattern. Awesome technique. Thanks so much for sharing Erin.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hoping to do more challenges tomorrow.
Very sleepy now. So goodnight from Australia.
