Stamping on pattern paper!

If you are looking for The Craft's Meow post, Click here!

Hey all,

A quick post to share my card for Pattern Play online class.

Day two is to stamp on pattern paper. With my migraine, I managed to make a card. Here it is for you.

I have used Wplus9 Woodgrain Silhouettes and Woodgrain Silhouette Additions stamp set to stamp on my pattern paper. Don't ask me where the pattern paper is from, because I don't know! All I can say is it was from one of the Studio Calico kits. Love stamping the sentiment vertically on the sides of the card. The sentiment is from The Craft's Meow's Geometric Foundations. Hope you like it.

Thanks for visiting!

Final Preview of The Craft's Meow Birthday Release!

Hey everybody,

Welcome to the final day preview of The Craft's Meow Birthday release.

Today we are previewing a beautiful silhouette set called Sweet Silhouette.
This set is by Nina. B designs.

Here is my card using Sweet Silhouette Stamp Set.

I went for a shabby chic style this time. The pattern papers are from Bazzill VINTAGE MARKETPLACE 6 x 6 Paper Multi-Pack. I think this style suits silhouette stamps. So pretty and look how the silhouette image is beautifully framed and still the focal point. This is a beautiful stamp set with lots of silhouette images:)

Happy Easter Card!

If you are looking for The Craft's Meow Post, CLICK HERE!

Hey Dear Friends!

I had a new package arrive yesterday. I couldn't  wait to play with them today. The package was from Clearly Besotted Stamps. Beautiful new stamp sets. I decided to use the Spring Blooms Stamp Set and some new pattern papers to make my card.

Using pattern papers have been a struggle for me as my style is clean and simple. So I took the Pattern Play class by Kristina and Jennifer. I watched all the three videos yesterday and got some awesome tips. I decided to use some of the tips to make my card today.

Here are the three pattern papers I decided to use. There is a busy pattern, a monochromatic medium pattern and a solid paper. I picked the busy floral paper first as it caught my eye. The colours of the flowers basically helped me choose the other two papers. These papers are from My Mind's Eye Everday Flair 6 x 6 paper pad.

So here is the card I made using these pattern papers and Spring Blooms stamp set.

I have not owned a jar stamp set  in my collection (shocking!). When I saw the jar in Spring Blooms stamp set from Clearly Besotted, I took to it instantly. I die cut the jar using the solid yellow pattern paper and stamped the jar image. I tied a blue string and added an enamel dot on the bow. I have also die cut the leaves and tulip and stamped. The cardstock I used to die cut the leaves has woodgrain texture and looks beautiful when stamped.

I have used the busy pattern paper to complement the medium gingham pattern paper. And the solid pattern papers to neutralise the bold colours of the gingham and floral pattern papers. I decided to stamp the sentiment on the side for fun.

I love how the card turned out and love love the jar with the tulips. Don't know why I didn't go for the jar earlier. Glad I got this set now:)

Ok, got a busy evening starting with cooking dinner, putting up washings on the clothes line and most importantly cleaning my craft desk.

See you tomorrow!

Hey everybody,

Welcome to day #3 preview of The Craft's Meow. Now that we have previewed two different birthday stamp set, which one is on your list? Or is both on your list? Now list may get bigger too:) We have a bigger stamp set previewing today.

This set is called Take The Cake! by Nina B designs.

Yes, like the name suggest, it has cake images and you can build your own cake. How cook is that? And this set is just not a birthday set. versatile enough to use for weddings, anniversary..... It is a must have set for me!

Here are couple of cards using this new Take the Cake stamp set.

I have gone for colourful palettes for all my cards this release. This one is no exception. I love that cake stand. So pretty with those jewels hanging. I made an anniversary/wedding card using this set here.

For the second card here, I have used the flowers in the set. I have stamped, coloured, cut them out and popped them with foam dots. Love the bold sentiments.
