A set of watercoloured tags

Hey everybody,

Beautiful Sunday morning! Cool with warm sun rays heating up the dining room:) Enjoying this weather because it is going to rain with a chance of thunderstorm late during the day. Cannot crib about it because after a long dry summer, any bit of rain is welcome.

I had some time on Friday and made a set of three gift  tags for  The Gift Tag Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. 



Here are the gift tags for you. 

I have used Jane Doodles's Doodle Flowers stamp set for making my tags. I have water coloured them using Studio Calico's Neon Mr. Hueys. Then cut out the flowers alone and layered them. The tags were diecut using tag die from Papertrey Ink and Studio Calico's Grid PL cards. The sentiment is stamped on the grid card as well, trimmed and layered on the tag using foam adhesives. The ribbon is from Papertrey Ink and the twine is from the Twinery.

I am in love with the water colour technique blending all the colours and learning some watercolour techniques along the way. So you will see more of this technique using on my projects.

The Craft's Meow Day #2 Preview of the May Release.

Hey everybody,

Welcome to day #2 preview of The Craft's Meow May New Releases.



Today we are previewing a new stamp set called Wildflowers



This set is also designed by Nina. B Designs. The set is 4 x 6 in size. This set has gorgeous flower cluster images. Here are two cards I made using this stamp set.

I heat embossed the outline flowers on white background and pencil coloured the flowers and leaves. The photo does not do justice. Looks much better in real.The sentiment on this card is not for this stamp set.

Here is my second card.

I heat embossed both the flowers and sentiment using cream embossing powder on a burgundy cardstock to give a nice contrast. I then used a dark red copic sketch marker to add shading. Then accented with pearls. A high contrast CAS card. I love how this card turned out.

I have let the beautiful sentiment be the focal point by keeping the sentiment panel simple. I have added colour on the background using the beautiful pattern papers.

CAS(E) this sketch # 28

Hello everybody,

Another Thursday and another new sketch from CAS(E) this sketch Challenge Blog.
 This new sketch is brought to you by N @ Ali.



Gorgeous sketch open to interpretation. Here is what I made using N @ Ali's sketch.

I love paisley design and when I saw the Paisley set from Wplus9, I knew it needs to come home to me:) I was so excited when I received my package but didn't have the time to use it until I saw N @ Ali's sketch. I picked three colours from Amuse Inks and simply used them and various paisley images to layout of the sketch. I then added the sentiment also form Wplus9. My cards are not complete without adding some bling. So I added some gorgeous sequins from Studio Calico. Love them. Tada! I love how my card turned out.

Sharing couple of cards.

Hey everybody,

Sharing couple of cards I had made sometime ago using Studio Calico's Snippets, Sun-drifter and Here & There  Collections. Here are the cards first.

I am loving the embellishments from the three beautiful collections from Studio Calico that I wanted to combine them to use on my card. so these cards are the result of this idea.
Love love the printed chipboard arrows and the speech bubbles. The flairs are so cool. I have highlighted the embellishments by keeping the background simple. I love them. Hope you do too.

My extended family have left after having a great holiday. House is very quiet and although life was hectic and exhausting, I miss them now:( Cleaning and sorting the house right now. Cannot wait to craft and share more:)
